What is the Pressure Volume Loop Curve? Explained in 6 minutes!!!

This videos shows an easy way to remember the different variations on the Pressure Volume loop curve. Changes in Afterload leads to a tall skinny curve; for this think of the first letter of Afterload = A which is tall and skinny and you will remember what the curve looks like. For contractility remember that the curve is shifted to the left; so when you write the first letter of Contractility = C it curves to the left! And lastly for Preload remember that the curve is to the right; when you write the first letter of Preload = P it curves to the right. Easy peasy way of remembering a concept that a lot of students struggle with.

I think it is wrong (6:00). Please answer this question. I think all textbooks show it wrong. SV increases as EDV increases and they all shorten to the same ES point on the ESPVR curve. Why should it shorten to the same end systolic pressure or point? If you increase SL (as in higher EDV) you should get more force (Force-length relationship) and more force means higher pressure. If they all shortened to the same ESP when you increase EDV, how would they even get the ESPVR curve?
