Divine purpose of humanity is the perfect expression of divine in the gross world. A spiritual evolution of mankind.

Beautiful Abouna. Amen. The Word teaches us, and we are the students. Intuition is of the Holy Spirit, which brings the remembrance of the Word that we know what to do and as relationship is connection, the Holy Spirit gives us the connections we need. Salvation is union with God and we live our salvation.

Thank you abouna. I am EO but for years I have been looking to OO. Could you please make a video what is the diffference of OOs understanding of sanctification and EOs theosis? As far as I have understood OO does not teach theosis as EO does. Thank you!

I can't thank you enough for making this video. I feel like this is a topic that is so important and yet not many people understand it (and that's even true for people within the church). Many of us focus on going to heaven and avoiding hell when our focus should be on achieving union with God both in this life and more fully in the next life. So I sincerely hope you can continue exploring this topic further because we need to learn more about it. With that being said, I did want to ask you a quick question, and please correct me if any of the ideas I write below are wrong. I am still learning and need guidance. My question is whether or not I am correct in saying that love is what ultimately allows us to be united with God? I say this because when God created Adam, He said: “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness” Genesis 1:26. From my perspective, this verse is not about humans physically looking like God. Rather, it is God’s desire for humans to be like the Holy Trinity where each human is a distinct person but is united with others through perfect love. In the Holy Trinity, you have three persons and each person is distinct in name, attribute, and body. Nevertheless, each person of the Trinity knows and loves the others with such absolute perfection that they are also one in essence, power, and will. God wanted to share His Trinitarian nature with us. By asking each person to love God and his neighbor, God wanted to create a situation where each person is connected with his neighbor and they are both connected with God. So, just like you have a Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Now you have a trinity of man, his neighbor, and God! Each is distinct and unique, but at the same time they are all united. The “second trinity” I describe is different from the first one. The love and unity between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is inherent. It is God’s nature. The love and unity between man, his neighbor, and God, however is through grace. God gives grace to man and his neighbor so that they can undergo a deification process, achieve perfect love and are able to be united with Him. In short, love allows distinct individuals to be united with one another and with God! The ability to achieve unity through love is what allows us to be like God!
