Your parish is so fortunate to have you as their priest. Jack Webb, thanks for watching. Our parish is a unique one. We have four historic campuses all within 10 minutes of each other in rural Indiana. Our church buildings were all built in the 1800's and do not have cry rooms. We believe at All Saints Parish that the beautiful noise of children in the pews is a sign that the Church is alive and growing. Bring the children! God bless you!

I respect the way you run your parish. However, I would hope that it can also be respected that when kids (some of them are not babies or newborns) make so much noise it’s ALSO distracting especially for older folks. When my kids made noise and I couldn’t get them to stop I had enough respect for the rest of the folks to take them outside. I get that the sound could be beautiful to some BUT I think that there needs to be a balance and respect for others and their need to be able to concentrate on the holy mass. I find it odd that the announcements at the beginning of mass ask that cell phones be turned off as courtesy to others... yet if a kid is yelling and screaming that is NOT addressed??

@@jackwebb5917 In our Parish our pastor askes those parents with kids sit near the side doors or at the back so whenever their kids are crying or making noises bring the kids out until they're calm down especially during homily. So many people come to our church they feel it is holy and let them concentrate on the Mass and prayers. God bless.

me think all priests (especially in Australia) should study FR. Meyers sermons, so that they could inject some spirit into their boring Masses. Another thing I have noticed, that seems to have a lot of very young children in his church. They at this stage could not understand his talk, perhaps they should be taken to a separate room during homilies and encourage them to read religious stories/watch religious "cartoons" and give them some age based sermons. If the children's noisy interruptions don't disturb Fr. Meyer, I'm sure distracts the congregation.
