I rewatched this after remembering that talk during one of their Immortal Songs 2 appearances where Solar said she's never told her parents "I love you" and the host made her say it to her dad on broadcast and she was so uncomfortable like it's not her thing. for me im also umcomfortable saying "i love you" to my parents bc they never said it to me at an early age, my family shows it through actions that we love eachother. so as i grew older i never felt comfortable saying it to my friends or anyone for that matter, the farthest i would go is texting it but it'll still feel so out of character for me. i personally just show my affection and appreciation for someone through actions, i find it more meaningful than words. she might be the same. thats why i dont think its about her not being good at expressing her feelings, she might've been brought up the same way as me where terms of endearment wasn't said at all but shown through actions. her parents were probably bought up the same way too. and plus theres many ways to express your own feelings not just through words, a lot of the time most people never say what they mean or want.
