It’s been a little over week & although my breathing has definitely improved since surgery, it’s still very difficult. I went from both nostrils completely blocked & needing to wake every hour to moisten my mouth from breathing from it & getting so dry I choke to being able ti breathe a tiny bit after a week but still super congested.

i have a fat nose it bother me all my life i like to hide my face hate taking photos, i finally saved up i like to do the rhinoplasty surgery please give same advise because i am fear i do see some photos the nose looks worst after surgery i love to do this if i am in a good hand. thanks

Hi Dr, After open rhino, approximately how many weeks does it take for an excessively upturned nose get back to no longer being upturned too much? Also, when will the upper lip gain fully movement so that one can show their upper teeth when smiling?

10/28/20 my 17y/o daughter had her surgery and it has been 2 very traumatic weeks! The worse part of recovery is not the pain but to see your face different! My daughter had her nose like yours and thinking now that was the nose that suited her face unless this one after time looks better but for now it is just very hard and scary. In my humble opinion don’t do it, stay safe with the one you have, but if you decide to do it I wish you good luck.

Ohh I’ve waited 40 years with a bad huge nose, and I finally took the jump. I’m ecstatic about the results, and my only regret is THAT I WAITED SO LONG TO DO IT!!!! Find the right dr. and build your confidence! You can do this!!!

@@sisimalass181 I think it depends on the surgeon. Dr Silva's work is very subtle. You can see from his website that if anything he under rather than over corrects.

Apparently ethnics, (Asians/Arabs/Africans) etc have far thicker skin than Caucasians and tend to swell for longer. How is your nose now? If it hasn't improved, I would see your PS for a steroid injection possibly.

The best Doctor use natural tissue from the Rib cage and ear cartilage to reconstruct the nose ..not silicone ! Korean Asian doctors are the best for natural nose job !

but they are used to doing it on Asian features. Not sure how good they will be with European clients. Also, they are just as expensive as the ones in Europe. Why bother to travel all the way to Korea? !

How long do you recommend taping your nose for after rhino? I am on my second rhino plasty and am greek italian with thicker skin. It is almost 12 weeks and I still tape everynight. I feel like my final result is showing more and don't know how much longer I should tape. I've heard 2-3 months. My doctor doesn't believe in taping, but I feel it is working. Does it really reshape the nose and would taping long term for up to the whole year of healing give optimal results? I'm willing to do whatever it takes, but don't want to waste my time taping if nothing will change. Thanks

@@BellaAphrodite the name is MICROPORE 3M skin tape. It’s very sticky and once I put it on, it stays on 7-8 days. It’s not something I would put on at night abd off in the day. One must be very careful putting it on, and even more carefully to remove...

It’s super easy to put on just don’t pull it off . Let it fall off in the shower . It really does helps with swelling and shaping 100 but dependent on the person and what work they’ve actually had done it’s not for everyone who has had surgery
