@@tmwbatman1160 why shouldn't he, jacksepticye and other big name gaming youtubers don't have skill and its debatable if they have talent. he literally got a degree to teach you? that's literally how economy should work he provides a product(that isnt just someone yelling and playing with slime with a clickbait thumbnail) and you pay for that product by watching ads. lol

A lot of students always get confused by the SUB numbers...the SUB numbers are NOT part of the equation. They are like saying term one, term two, term three....they dont go into ANY of the calculations. At all. Its like saying a Audi8, Audi7, Audi6...they mark a new generation or next years model, Audi 8 doesn't have 8 tires or anything, its just the next years model. But it takes so long to write down term one, term two, term three in words, so we write t1, t2, t3, or a1, a2, a3. The only relationship the sub numbers have is to say a3 comes after a2, and a2 comes after a1, just like models of a car.

So this would be for an arithmetic recursive formula, right? And if so do u have a geometric recursive formula example?
@ケーデン-m9q4 жыл бұрын
Hi! I’m sure you covered this in class, but I recursive formula for a geometric sequence could look something like this Un = Un-1(.5) UsubN = UsubN-1(.5)

Sir, I have a question, are all explicit formulas arithmetic? Because my teacher told us to make an explicit formula for this: 2, 4, 7, 11, 16, ... & I think it's supposed to be under recursive..

I don't know how did the "a3+1 = 5^2 +1".... isn't the k is 3? shouldn't supposed "a3+1 = 3^2 +1"
@kelseysanders92515 жыл бұрын
Just trying to clarify wouldn't a4 = 10? Because k=3 and when you plug-in to the formula it would look like this: a1+1=1^2+1 --> a2=2 a2+1=2^2+1 --> a3=5 a3+1=3^2+1 --> a4=10 * a4+1=4^2+1 --> a5=17
@lol.70312 жыл бұрын
No it wouldn’t, because it uses the last value you gained, not the 3; so it’d be 5^2 + 1

No because a of 1 means that it is the first term in the sequence and 2 is what the 1st term in the sequence is does that make sense
