Oh congratulations on dancing in a new category. About pressure, you can try to keep it tight but at the same time try not to squeeze her to yourself to much. Ladies like to feel that they have freedom in a frame. So you can provide some limitations, but try to be flexible. You can keep it more relaxed as long as you maintain contact, but if you feel that in some parts you need to go tighter you can do it, but don’t go smaller, inside. Just increase tone as much as you need
