What is The Strongest Animal in Zoo Tycoon 2?

What is the strongest animal in the world? For centuries David Attenborough, Steve Backshall and many KZbin tier list makers have been asking this very question. Today, I will be using the Zoo Simulation video game Zoo Tycoon 2 to find the answer. Having created my own powerful creatures in Spore and my own powerful humans in The Sims, I felt inspired to find a champion among animals which actually exist. to do this I will be running a Tournament format with a grand final at the end, like the euros or the world cup except much more ethically questionable. Who will win? Will it be the Arctic's greatest warrior the polar bear, the most famous of dinosaurs the T-rex, the king of the jungle the tiger or something else?
(sorry this video is so bad I have no idea how it ended up so rubbish I think I just rushed it)

this reminds me of when I used the "sandbox zoo" in complete collection to do a 4-team tournament. (prehistoric, marine, terrestrial, and mythical). obviously team mythical had the biggest disadvantage, only 5 species (mermaid, yeti, bigfoot, unicorn, and loch ness monster). ultimately the prehistoric team won since most of their species survived each round, and not very many of the marine team's species could compete against most of the terrestrial, prehistoric, or mythical species as they need to be able to swim in tanks to fight the marine team. I did have electric fencing for the land battles and Atlantian tank walls for the aquatic battles. to no surprise Plesiosaurus slaughtered a lot of the Marine team, though so did Loch Ness Monster. Mermaid was useless for the mythical team though, great white shark killed her quickly.
