Wat je hebt gefilmd over de wedstrijd zag er super uit. Heel veel succes in Le mans. Zet hem op. Ik herken wat je zegt over spanning tijdens de wedstrijd in de hals en rug. Ik heb geen hengst, maar, een merrie en dit is ook haar grootste probleem. Ik krijg altijd van de jury's terug om veel te starten, km maken.... beetje lastig in deze periode :-). Ik probeer thuis alles veel beter voor elkaar te hebben zodat ik op wedstrijd wat meer reserves heb.

On a MUCH lower level I am working on the same thing - relaxation in the movements like 10 m circle or shoulder in. I find my hips lock up. It's interesting that you will keep working on the same basics all the way to GP. Your first piaffe on Genesis was fabulous btw! Good luck!

Jeetje wat had je ze er allebei goed aan staan zeg. Vooral Genesis veel meer op lengte van voren. Veel meer rust, ruimte en kracht in de beweging. Heb er van genoten. Zo knap die zelfreflectie van jou iedere keer. Al zou ik al dolgelukkig zijn met slechts 10% van jouw talent. Het was een feest om naar te kijken.

Hi Would you explain the specific leg aids please. And do you move the hands forward when asking for a bigger trot. Slowing them down do you sit heavier? Any other pressure. Or just so relax and wait?

I am nowhere near your level but am also battling nerves. What helped was a glass of red wine. For me not the horse. It just took the edge off and bio feedback. Bone chance.
