hemophilia are of 2 types factor 8 & factor 9 deficiency..factors are proteins in blood ..it is considered a blood component transfusion..available as injections , but it doesnt look like red blood or white blood/platelet per se ...besides these people can be given fresh frozen plasma too...but these products are prone to infection , and its important that blood be not collected from high risk people , red light area, known drug users and such..
