And blasphemy comes from the bottom of the heart, and it is not an accident or some merely spoken words, but it is a total rejection of the Holy Spirit and His works. God knows the hearts. Added, it’s a rejection of Christ as well. (Luke 12:10, John 3:36, Mark 3:29) The only unpardonable sin is Unbelief, which is persistent rejection of Jesus.

theralphster while I do tend to agree with this, I am going to check those verses, because the only evidence I’ve ever seen of blasphemy of the holy spirit is exactly what Jesus said to the Pharisees, accusing the Holy Spirit of those works. A lot of people say that is the constant and wilful rejection of the spirit, but I’ve never seen it in the Scriptures, but to be fair I am going to go and check

@12T90 LSD25 apparently you feel conviction about this. Since all sins (past, present and future) have been forgiven to a believer then you need to repent to your High Priest Jesus Christ. For conscious sake we need to go before Him and believe you have been forgiven. Jesus Christ Blood was better then the sacrifices of animals in the Old Covenant because Jesus Blood washes (cleanses) away conscious guilt, shame, condemnation instead of animals blood sacrifices only covers them. If you don't the enemy can bring (the accuser of the brethren) condemnation, guilt, shame. Now there is NO condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus! Amen to that.

@12T90 LSD25 Thank you for expressing what you feel about this topic. Have you honestly with all your heart asked the true God (Yahweh, Elohim, I AM) to reveal if Jesus Christ is His Son? To make Himself real in supernatural way? I use to ask myself why have He chose me to reveal Himself to me at a very young age of only 4 1/2 years of age on a big plane traveling from Ecuador (who my mom's family put me on) to NYC. I was amazed at that age of the little window looking outside in the sky on high altitude. The Holy Spirit gave me a vision of Jesus Christ so almost as big as the Empire State building. It is what they call a living statue. I first saw a pink cloud tornado then 2 pink clouds. Then I saw a man standing on a small pink cloud. He was wearing a ivory garment (gown down to His feet) with a golden ribbon boarder all on edges of His garment and He had a Chinese collar style (what it resembled). He had black wavy hair down to his shoulders cut evenly and parted evenly. Black short beard and mustache. His skin color was olive complexion, bluish eyes with some green like the ocean. He seemed to have a long face not much long even nose. A glow on His face (eminence). He had long hands then common. His right hand was positioned with two fingers up (the pointing finger & the middle) the others curved in. I found out later in my life it meant back in His time it meant High Priest. The left hand was holding a Blue Ball the size of a soccer size with some white patches on it. It was the planet Earth. Being as a child I was fixed on the ball and the vision brought me to the earth to His eyes. And as I got closer to His eyes the Iris of His eyes became the ocean only. There is a scripture that says that that our sins are thrown to the deepest part of the ocean and no longer does He remember our sins! There is alot of details to this vision I am not saying. The HS kept reliving me of this vision every few years till I mentioned it to my mom at the of 23 years old. Then it stopped. Even though I remember back in 3-4 grade back in public school we would all go to the auditorium to watch theatre plays, etc. The times when our nation believed in God and we pledged allegiance and prayed, they out a song called. "He has the whole world in His Hands." I still didn't put it together that it was Jesus who I had the vision of. You would probably going to say why you? Well... I asked that to myself a few times. And my conclusion was because I was going to through great battles in my life both being a sinner and battling the spiritual realm. I was called to be an evangelist. But the cares of this world has put a block on this for now. I am 55 in 2 days. To walk in the Spirit can be difficult if you don't surrender totally to yielding your life and not understanding certain things. I have experienced God in many many ways. I have have not long ago experienced His Presence walking up to me in church service right next to me on my right side and wrap His hands around me. I had so much grief and I felt His spiritual comfort and peace. That was the HS who testifies who Jesus Christ is. I was also back in 1999-2000 baptized by Jesus presence in my bedroom speaking in tongues (spiritual language). Also the Presence of His fragrance in many ways, The wind of the Spirit many times, the filling and overflow, unspeakable Joy, etc.. I always searched for Churches that are spirit filled and practice the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. I find that the RHEMA Churches (Kenneth Hagin), Gregory Dickkow Ministries, Joseph Prince, Andrew Wommack, Dr. Bill Winston Ministries, Creflo Dollars..The Word of Faith are awesome overflowing Churches. Don't believe in the lies about these churches. The preachings are inspired by the HS. Because I can't find one of these I am going to call church the HS led me too that are Pentacostals. I don't agree with some of the beliefs but I have to submit to the HS He knows best. If you have questions fill free to ask. Oh..the Holy Spirit inspired these men in the Bible to write down exactly everything. We have exact original old text.. manuscripts. The problem is who nowadays anyone can publish and print new Bibles. It isn't God's words that are incorrect it is men's interpretation of the scriptures. Before we open the Bible we need to ask Jesus, the HS to reveal His word for us! That is how it works! He is our teacher, guide, etc.

+Twitchy Paladin Yes you are still able to be forgiven as what this man said is untrue. First off there are three unforgivable sins not just one and they are as followed in order as they appear in the Bible: 1) Committing Suicide- The Ten Commandments (Which everyone has to follow) says killing is a sin and that includes yourself. Since you can not repent (Which means to have a change of heart) and ask for forgiveness of the sin of killing yourself once you are dead it is deemed unforgivable. 2) Blaspheming The Holy Ghost- Now contrary to what this man said, it is when you say Jesus only received His powers to heal, perform miracles and raise the dead due to Beelzebub AKA Satan. In other words by calling Jesus a Shaman, Witch Doctor, Witch, Warlock, Wizard, Sorcerer or any other magic producing individual who all get their powers directly from Satan through worshiping him. You can deny Jesus as your Lord and Savior and still come to accept Him as your Lord and Savior and be saved. But by blaspheming the Holy Ghost that is an unforgivable sin and will get you a one way ticket straight to Hell come Judgement Day. 3) Accepting The Mark of The Beast- By accepting The Mark of The Beast in your right hand or in your forehead you have chosen Satan over Jesus and you will burn for all eternity for doing so. I hope this helps you as I was not always one of Gods people. I was an agnostic and denied Jesus for half my life. I am glad I am saved now and hope to see you in Heaven. Shalom and God bless

classyt20f7 Hello again, Life can be very hectic and sometimes overwhelming but if you take just 5 minutes a day at the beginning when you wake up or at night right before bed and dedicate it to Jesus you will see wonderful things happen. I choose right before bed to have my special time with Jesus. First I repent for any and all sins I may have done (Both those I know I did as well as those I am unaware of). Then I pray for the blood covering for myself and my family and then I pray for all true Jewish people and the nation of Israel as they are the apple of Gods eye and always will be. I will then proceed to pray for all the heathens, Atheists, Pagan worshipers to come to Jesus and get saved. And I tell Jesus how much I love Him and then I end my prayer with, "I ask all these things in your name Lord Jesus, amen". I always feel so much better and wake up feeling blessed for the new day! I hope my advice is helping you and although I am by no means a perfect Christian, I am a spiritual work in progress as well so I know how you feel. Take care and God bless. XD

Thank you my friend. I have spent so many nights awake worrying that I had commited it many years ago. Several times when I was ten to maybe eleven or twelve, I said things against God. I have been a christian my entire life, I love God and know that God loves me as he does all of his childeren. I was raised to believe in God and praise Jesus Christ, so when these things came back to me and I remembered them, I became very upset and worried, I have watched two videos and read an article and they all say the same thing, I am forgiven because the only sin that cannot be forgiven is to not accept Jesus Christ as our savior. I can now rest easy knowing I have not commited this sin and I am forgiven

The unforgivable sin is rejecting the holy Spirit urge to repent and believe in Christ the holy spirit is what SEALs you and is how Jesus will be able to see you and recognize you as one of his followers if you don't do what the holy Spirit tells you when he tells you to repent or don't send and you keep doing it and you keep doing it and you keep doing it it's mocking or going against the holy Spirit. Everyone who watches this, those who commit the unpardonable sin are those who don't seek repentance because their hearts are too hard. They are reprobates. The pharisees hearts were so hard and cold that repentance was the last thing that they were seeking. If you love Christ but you worried that you have committed the unpardonable sin, then you haven't. You are secured by Christ and he will never forsake you or abandon you. I have been through this. I thought that I committed this sin and I was so scared, anxious, and depressed that I wanted to die. It was a traumatic experience for me. But Jesus would constantly tell me that I was gonna be fine and that I was forgiven and that he loved me unconditionally. If you are worried about committing this sin, don't be. If Jesus can forgive me, he will definitely forgive you.

Denying the Holy Spirit simply means you have NOT been born again. It means you refused the free gift of Salvation which is You must be born again. Jesus Took away ALL our Sins! When we repent and believe we receive the Holy Spirit and are sealed in Christ for ALL eternity! This is Grace by faith. Trying to be religious or work to be saved without being born again IS the unforgivable sin. Jesus came to SAVE us not condemn us.when he saves us he seals us with the Holy Spirit. We can choose to yield each day to his presence in our hearts and lives or we can choose to walk in the Spirit and be filled with his power but we are saved and MADE ALIVE! we do not ever DIE spiritually again! Thank you so much for sharing and explaining this.. it means so much to me,my whole life will be change because of this.. im a Christian and when im starting reading bible for preparing for my bible study i read that verse, the unpardonable sin.. since then im convinced that i already committed it a long time ago..it always haunt me everyday i feel that im no longer save and that God are already gave me my sentence to hell..for 1 year now im still living in fear and sometimes i read some explanations about this sin and some of them saying that i did not committed it...i feel good a little bit, but later again i panic and i cannot sleep.. sometimes my crazy mind that i cannot control much ,are causing me to think bad thoughts against the Holy Spirit,to Jesus,to Father and its getting harder and harder to control, and again guilt feelings entering on me saying you committed again unpardonable sins..I think that the more i think about it , the more i sin it..sometimes i think why on earth God created to be like this bad and sinner person ..i attended to church always and im already baptized as a Christian and believe in God , in Jesus and in the Holy Spirit but this sin is always on my mind..i dont want to live half of my life suffering thinking about that sin always..i want to live in my normal life under God and how can i live normal if it will always occur to my mind always?..so when i Watched this, i know this is not an accident.. i know that Jesus lead me here to watch this,and when i watched this my heart beating so fast to hear every words you said.. i feel better now and i want to continue seeking Jesus in my life and help others to hear the Gospel also.. thank you so much, God Bless you..

Jesus already died for our sins on the Cross 2000 years ago,so i dont have to worry about it..now i know shes right..i just need to continue walking with God everyday and help other people to know about God's salvation for us..also i know that its an attack from the enemy too, to make me feel horrible everyday,and i feel it when i begin seeking Jesus in my life as a Christian..but i know that our God is MORE POWERFUL than the enemy..so no matter what i will not stop loving Jesus even guilt,problems,fear,or frustrations attacks me..no matter how dark it may look likes,Jesus will pull you out from the darkness.. Lea,I know how you feel I have had the same crazy thoughts about the father,the son and the Holy Spirit.I even blasphemed because I had an uncontrollable compulsion to blaspheme like I had demons in me or Sth.I even had dreams about Jesus(the real Jesus covered in the purest white stretching out His arms to me telling me to Come!) when I thought all was lost.I have even heard the devil speak to me.It's a real war for your soul out here my dear. But I was forgiven. Ask me how I know.Because I felt the Holy Spirit flood me again and I was happy,unexplainable joy and peace just flooded me.See I repented with my whole heart and one day just sitting watching the tv while thinking about Jesus and the piercings on His hands I felt Sth leave me.It was a dark spirit.I almost past out.I actually did for 1sec then I felt the Holy Spirit come into me.After I had wronged Him terribly.I felt happiness and joy.That is how I knew I have been forgiven and anybody can be forgiven too.Repent!Jesus saves

Oh my God! I almost cry! I suffered from severe Anxiety because of this that in my thoughts i was blasphemy the spirit but it’s just in my thoughts i didn’t even say it! I was trembling because i was thinking that God is angry at me and i am going to hell and i am scared but my heart is not like that. I love the Lord.

fauna sean (my English is not very good i will do my best to explain☺️) I totally understand you, don’t be scared I did the same thing as you when I first converted to Christ when I was around 15-16. I got so so scared that I did the unvorgivable sin. But it’s not. The Pharisees that have committed it were willfully, deliberately, they knew it was wrong but keep blaspheming anyway. It’s not just a thought or accidental. Cause you know the enemy attacks us with ungodly thoughts a lot, sometimes even with sexual dreams to distract us. Pray for God’s protection. I got these thoughts ever since I knew about that verse.. I just wanna say that I understand about and the sin now and I watched a lot of sermons about this.. I just keep in mind the verse 1 John 1:9... But I still am struggling today with these thoughts.. Blasphemous thoughts about Father God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.. Anything that concerns God.. But I always pray and rebuke. The worst thing now is when I rebuke and pray I also get blasphemous thoughts and evil thoughts.. But I always keep in my mind that I won't let that affect me and I'm still going to walk in the path of goodness and the light with God Jesus Christ..many Christians said I have OCD and I read an article about that too.. I opened it up to my mom and she agreed to consult a therapist.. But I just keep in mind that I know God will heal me.. That Jesus, God will not let me fall and will heal me..i just wanna update sir and thank you for sharing.. God bless you brethren

I think I've failed. I accepted Him years ago, yet because of living with anger most of my life, and a pain (trigeminal neuralgia) that has lasted 12 years, I started cursing at Him, saying the foulest things ever. I believe In Him, and started Hearing Him. yet in my pain, I got so low, I yelled, I can't believe in you, I reject you, I hate you...all in pain. I love this guy! Clarity about Grace is so important for all Christians to understand. One topic I haven’t seen being talked about is the topic of “eternal” damnation for unbelievers and if a loving God is truly just if he condemns unbelievers to an “eternal” punishment of torment for a relatively short lifetime of unbelief. I know universal salvation is scorned in the Western Protestant tradition but it may have been the prevailing thought prior to Augustine. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is saying that Jesus cast out demons because He had a demon inside Him.. The Jews also said that Jesus was casting out demons by the Devil. The Pharisees, having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by a demon (Matthew 12:24). The unpardonable sin today is the state of continued unbelief. The Spirit currently convicts the unsaved world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). I was raised catholic and left 20nyrs ago af5er being born again...then I left that style of christinaity but still believed in christ and attended more traditional protestant denoms for awhile. I then fell into Buddhist meditation teachings as a psychology tool to help me with my mothers death and my stress and attended some meditation retreats and a Buddhist psychologist for sessions. I felt the teachings were simply common sense amd not a threat to my belief in christ but it got to a point where I felt in danger. I came back to Christ and repented but feel like I cheated in Him and am in danger of this sin. Like I really abused or turned my back on his grace. I ha e asked his forgiveness but feel sorrow about it still for being so faithless and stupid. I just felt at the time I needed a break and needed to try something new to help my thoughts since I felt so alone in my grief processing. But see now where I went wrong.

Because they would not be able to be sealed by the Holy Spirit thus be guilty in this life and the age to come. When Jesus speaks of being perfect, it’s his desire that we strive to it, but if it was as easy as becoming perfect there’s no need for Christ’s redirection. Anyone studying this topic may want to consider the difference between those Jesus (and the 12) were preaching versus those Paul was preaching. (Jews under the law versus those saved by Grace) The gospel of "the Kingdom" (believing that Jesus was their Messiah) versus the gospel of the death, burial & resurrection (saved by Grace through faith). There is no bad news in the good news (gospel). Jesus took away the sin of the world (Jn 1:29). God is no longer counting people's sins against them (2 Cor 5:19). Jesus died not only for believers but for the sins of all (1 Jn 2:2). If He were to punish people in what some imagine to be "hell", either He is LORD, lunatic or liar. One day ALL knees will bow and ALL tongues will confess that Jesus is Lord (Phil 2:10-11; Rom 14:11; Isa 45:23). Some people are living in a "hell" of their own making NOW. The good news (gospel) is that because of grace, Jesus did not come to condemn anyone (Jn 3:17) and all will be taken care of.

I think Satan has used this verse to instill fear and doubt into Christians. Years ago my brother literally became paralyzed for weeks with fear because he thought he committed the unpardonable sin. He wouldn't leave his room or eat food. I've never seen anything like it. He now doesn't walk with God.

William Babyboy God desires all to be saved and will forgive you even if you cursed him everyday for a hundred years. Paul did much worse than "stop believing" yet he's one of the most important people in the Bible (behind Jesus of course). If you truly believe and are truly sorry God will forgive you and you can/will be with him for eternity

Thank you soooooo much for making this video and explaining.i was born and raised as hindu but my dad is a truth seeker and me too. Because in the Hindu religion In which i was in at the time when used pray to idols,I didn't know that it was bad, but my laziness saved me from praying to them and a lot of times I would just talk to God, because there was so many Hindu gods I would just close my eyes and pray to God directly, start by saying the god who created me, or who created the universe, and whenever was afraid i would pray saying i surround myself with the most purest bright light of heaven.In the bible i got know who is Light, at first it was a bit difficult because we are kind of new to Christianity and the Holy bible, i felt so guilty when I read that verse, i believe in God our Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit,but the more that I tried to not think about it I got negative thoughts and sometimes when i tried to read it again and understand what Jesus was really trying to say because i knew he spoke in parables, then i felt not well and lonely,and cried many times,the more I tried reading it was like adding fuel to fire,and started imagining things,i've been getting nightmares. Thank you for so explaining and calming me.May Jesus always give you and your family peace in this life's journey.

jpsmart59 It's not the same thing as unbelief. If it was, then it would be forgiven in this age. However, the bible says that blaspheming the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven in this age nor the age to come. He also says if you blaspheme Jesus it will be forgiven, but not the Holy Spirit. Something interesting I noticed was it said "Jesus knew their thoughts" before He responded. Perhaps he knew they did believe but then denied... perhaps He was warning them before condemning them. In other words, perhaps if someone says something like that in ignorance and unbelief, He may let them have a warning before they are eternally condemned.

I've struggled with this for a quarter of a century but that is what the book says. Years ago I was struggling with free will versus Calvinistic doctrine and quite frankly it's not reformational or Calvinistic doctrine that is the problem it's the mixture of the two. when you believed in his name and called upon Jesus then with all the free will garbage we learn and their progressive sanctification and fabrication of the third use of the law as if it's a means of sanctifying our unredeemed flesh we can have victory over sin or live the victorious Christian life. The problem with that is is that if you ever compare yourself to the law you still sin and you never have victory over it… The law still condemns you and is not a means of righteousness anyway. But the problem with combining the two is is that if you don't have this victorious Christian life then you think you're not elect but you've called upon the name of the Lord so it essentially makes God look unfaithful. Even though you believed in the name of Jesus and you've called upon the name of the Lord to be saved and you believe in your heart that he was raised from the dead you do not have "victory over sin" so you think you are not on the list and you begin to curse God. I remember one day I named them off all three and told them to F off. I have not lived the Christian life and felt like I've had no place to witness to anyone… I've even not gone to church simply because I get horrible teaching that is obviously contrary to Scripture and the backbiting and quality of people you meet at church are far worse than what you can meet at the local bar. Especially as of late I've wanted to have the presence I once had with God… I've literally experienced his presence or living water inside me. That I have not experienced in a long time. No one ever teaches a complete break from the law and saying that it makes faith void and the promise nullified and brings wrath... they also don't teach you that where there is no law neither is there a violation for this reason it is by faith that it might be in accordance with Grace… If I could write a book it would be called for this reason...

To do the will of God or to work the works of God you must love Jesus and loving Jesus means obeying his commandments. John 14:21 states "Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them." Simply believing on the son is not enough. Even believers who do mighty works in the name of Jesus will be told on the last day 'depart from me your workers of iniquity, I never knew you'. True believers must practice righteousness by denying themselves and taking up their cross daily.

I am trying so hard to believe in Jesus. I know he’s real I just know it but there is unbelief in me and I cannot stand it. I appreciate this of what you were saying about the unpardonable sin. I suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder and I did have some Blasphemous thoughts. I asked for Jesus for forgiveness and prayer about it. But, I still you know I have this thoughts in my brain about that God can't forgive me. I am very thankful that you have said this very clearly to me. My question is I don't I know Jesus is real I do pray but what if somebody who wants to go back to their old sinful ways. Backslide. My OCD also plays tricks on me. Even now. With medication and therapy.

In 1989, after receiving Jesus, I was instructed to read the Bible (something I never did before). I am nicely lying in bed reading the book of Matthew when BANG !!!!!!!!!!!! I read Matthew 12:32. As soon as you read that you are not allowed to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, guess what happens? Of course, you get a million blasphemous thoughts in your head and you are SCARED TO DEATH. The truth is that you cannot push an evil thought out of your head by trying to do so. Because, if you try to FORGET something, you end up REMEMBERING it more!!! This is an excellent video because it explains the true meaning of the Scriptures that say that you are not allowed to blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
