For compass error, you have to see where the compass lies with respect to the true (east or west). Is that what you mean? Then, yes:)

I understood this example sir. That compass error was wast because it lies in the wast of true but if compass bearing is 358 and true is 359 then the error will be 1E by rule of thumb but conceptually it should be W because compass is lie in wast of true. This is my doubt sir plz clear it
