I never realised it before, but the old couple turning off the road into the field at the beginning of the first film must be a reference to the couple who witnessed the crime in real life. The couple were briefly followed by the truck then pulled off the road and let the truck drive by. And in the movie the creeper continued on and followed Trish and Darry. 👏🏻 brilliant detail ❤

Probably late on this but Giselle looks at Trish because Trish has to live with Derrys death. She knew which one the Creeper would go for from the beginning. That's why she kept saying "you don't understand" when Derry asks her if her dreams are ever wrong. They're not.

The Creeper is very similar to Pennywise ( fear, eating kids, hibernation, etc. ) which makes me think the psychic aspect is basically the Turtle in this universe. Love the channel. Thank you for the entertainment!

In the comic of Jeepers Creepers, the Aztecs mistook the Creeper as their God, Quetzalcoatl, which is interesting, but I find the story better if the origins remain a mystery. Just that the Creeper is ancient, and he eats people to replace parts and sustain his life.

But it was probably Victor who wrote the story. The rest of it was well executed, the make up, cinematography, editing, sets, etc.

The funny thing is usually when people talk about "separate the art from the artist" its usually when it involves a movie they're a fan of, or a series they jerk it to...When its an actor, director, character etc. that they don't like they are 100% of the time the first one to jump up and fart out the story of what that person did wrong..... So at the very least the people who drone on about separating the art from the artist could actually be across the board consistent instead of wildly hypocritical.

I was still in high school when I saw Jeepers 1 in theaters, and I was hooked as soon as I noticed the truck behind Trish & Dairy. I spent the rest of the film on the edge of my seat. I think one of the things that made it so memorable and enjoyable is that you never really know exactly what the creeper is, and the fact that he's been around for centuries. If I throw on #1 I immediately follow it up w/#2. I've only seen 3&4 once, and that was enough. But I'd watch 3 on a continuous loop, than subjecting myself to #4 again 😑🔫

The first one will always mean a lot to me cause it's the first horror movie I remember seeing as a kid that genuinely scared me. It's a shame that it really nose dived after the second one cause the Creeper is one of my favorite horror monsters/villains. I'd love to see at least a Never Hike Alone quality fan film with the Creeper. Ive actually read the leaked script for Cathedral and apparently the husk of the Creeper was almost like shed skin that left something behind at the end of the second movie. They apparently were gonna have a Halloween Ends esque procession where they were gonna burn the husk, but it was revealed by the returning psycic from the first movie that it almost functions like a pheonix in that fire rebirths it

For years I thought the creeper was the Jersey devil, they had so little backstory of the creeper to the point it almost distracts me from the film. I find myself pondering who or what is he, never learning his weaknesses kind of makes me lose interest but I do like the movies, all of them. The chronological aspect still distracts me to we see all these old cars and old houses so you think it’s like the 60’s-70’s but then people use cellphones so are all the movies taking place in the same 27 days? As far as the peeing proximity in part 2 don’t cross the streams! It would be bad.
