I think there has been so much damage done to peoples mental health with all this toxic positivity. As a survivor myself I used to think it was my burden to forgive my abusers. If I didn't I was the bad person,not them. How messed up is that? That in order to move forward I had to forgive them? UHH NO..I learned overtime and working really hard at my mental and emotional health that forgiveness should come naturally. And it shouldn't be an end goal of an abusive situation, and it isn't necessary for everyone to heal. I know that for some people it is, and that is their truth and that is okay. But for others the story is very different. I don't hate my abusers as much as I have no longer have any gut reaction to them. There are hurtful situations that are so destructive and so deep that the idea of forgiveness deepens the wound. Perhaps with time and work that can change. But, to put that pressure on yourself to forgive something that in your mind and heart is unforgivable only creates more mental, and emotional stress for someone who is already so fragile. I think people just need to be more compassionate to themselves and save themselves first. The rest will work itself out and if it doesn't that is okay as well. Yea, spirituality has two sides, light and dark, the contrast between the two forms reality. And I’ve been operating on my light side most the time. Only recently I’ve been more allowing of my dark self some rule. I’m definitely more angel than demon, and I definitely took a beating. Number 3 get this yeah he did all this charming shit for years. Weaseled his way in after i had my 2nd kid. I walked away got help through dss but my ass hormonal let him back in.. got housing through my um issues like mental anxiety anyway i let him come and put him on the lease. Not as head of the household anyway he pays 100 a month but the 1st year i paid. He pays 200 a week for food. Free everything else. Ok so he forced are 3rd child.
