The two Tunisia's thing goes deeper, cause there's a state only recognised by Turkey which is in northern Cyprus and has a very similar flag to Tunisia. But also it's not exactly the same. To resolve or prevent such conflicts, international understanding of what the accepted borders are plays a huge part. That understanding is shifted by what the common person thinks, ands that opinion can in turned be shifted by how people we talk to and the media we consume handle the topic. I hope you then can see how a KZbin channel with a reach of countless of millions of people talking about such topics a certain way can be damaging, if done lazily, intentionally provoking, or just based on ignorance. Influencers have influence (who would have guessed) and therefore a responsibility on how they approach their content. Edit: It’s basically the same concept as how sexuality, race, religion, culture can be talked about or depicted in problematic ways. Also here are some other more well known cases China/Hong Kong, China/Taiwan, Greece/Türkiye.
