Altay is the name of the song, Ummet Ozcan is a Dutch DJ whose roots are Turkish, not Mongolian, even though he does use throat singing with dance music as his trademark. Otyken is a Siberian band using local tribes' music with dance vibes to preserve their culture. It is a great song even though I do not understand a word :)

The group had planned to perform in the US in 2023, including on America's Got Talent by invitation from the organizers, but they had to postpone their live performance to 2025. Ötüken is the ancient Capitol of we Turks in Mongolia , was between Orkhon and Selenga Rivers . He's singing about Old Turkish pantheon. Gods and goddess' I could recognize are Kök Tengri (Sky God), Kayra (God of universe), Erlik Han (God of the underworld), Ülgen (God of good deeds), Mergen (God of wisdom), Kızag Han (God of war), Umay (Goddess of fertility), Kuara (God of thunder), Kubay (Goddess of children), Koyash (Sun god), Ak Ana (Goddess of creation, means white mother in modern Turkish), Ay Ata (Moon god - means moon father in modern Turkish), Gün Ana (Sun goddess - means sun mother in modern Turkish), Yel Ana (Goddess of winds - means wind mother in modern Turkish), Yel Ata (God of winds - yea, wind daddy), Burkut (Eagle god), Öd Tengri (God of time), Boz Tengri (God wandering in steppes), Su Ana (Goddess of waters, water mother in modern Turkish), Su Ata (God of waters), Od Ana (Goddess of fire), Od Ata (God of fire), Yer Tengri (God of earth), Etügen (Goddess of earth). I just discovered Otykan and Ummet Ozcan in October when I was on a trip. I discovered them with a little sound bite of this song called Altay on Tic Tok, and then after that, I checked them both oit on KZbin and really liked their music. That day, I became a fan of Otykan and Ummet Ozcan. Someday I hope to see them both live im a concert.

They're Sámi (of Norway), like I am, and the lyrics are in Norwegian. More typical hardcore in sound, but with indigenous elements.
