What is this(UNDERTALE)(please help)

Heyo found you in the recommended videos That is the dog check, it means your save file somehow got corrupted Judging by the LV 0 I'm guessing it was a pretty bad corruption, you can try opening your save file to see if you can correct it manually or restart your game

@v4c0uum86 possibly, did you close your game before shutting down your PC? And if so was it through the esc key or some other way?

I saved and then I alt-F4 the game and then I turned off my laptop

@@v4c0uum86 hm weird... in theory it shouldn't have corrupted Weirdly enough I've seen someone have a similar issue in deltarune but there wasn't a fix for it unfortunately 😔 At most you could try and use a save file generator (like Flowey's time machine) to recreate your save and put it in undertale's save directory

ik theres a comment here already but heres a fact this screen also shows up if you somehow mess with your game files! i've messed with my game files and gave myself like, 99 health and a lot of defense, and then i changed one number i thought was unimportant and my save file basically died lol

@@v4c0uum86 i was at genocide sans, so about the entire run but thats why i upped my defense and somewhat my attack so i can go through the run again and do only the sans fight legitimately

@@TheMinekBolt so do i but it doesnt completely replicate undertale's movements (for example when you hold all four arrows on the attack that sans slams you down and spawns bones on the wall you get slammed into, you usually auto-jump when you hold all four arrows)
