Thonar is one of the names Thor goes by in Old Germanic, also Donar. All of the Norse Gods and Goddesses have multiple names, as they were called differently in different countries. Odin himself has 206 different names, one of which is Grimnir, which is why one of his eyes are covered. He’s Odin in disguise.

Thonar is a human race bc thats what she convinced the Sins of. She was always Thor, but Norse gods have so many names that any vaguely similar name is usually akin to the god themself. Thonar, Donar, Thuner, Thunar, Toke, Thorsten, Thorstein, Thorkel, Thorulf, Thordis, and Thora are all names for the same god. Odin himself is the exception here, as his names don't trace back to Odin often. Grimnir and Bolverkr are names he uses to disguise himelf, but also Wodan, Wotan, Wuotan, Wuodan, and more all trace back to Odin. I think Odin has over 200 different names he has used, and Thor has just as many spellings. Thor was always too proud to ever change his name to a human one, where Odin did it out of tactical advantage.

Every time they release a new like form of unit, they always use the hell out of it, release a new form, etc. They did this with festivals at first, there was so much that happened. Then there was dark and light units which there was then an overflow of only dark and light units, and after it was LRs i get they were supposed to come out like every month or whatever but at one point the released units and the small time slot to make new LRs became crazy. AND NOW ITS UR FESTIVALS, there has been so many units with small banners in between because they need to release something as a gacha game. But either way there has been 3 back to back UR Festivals, Thonar, Sabnak, and Escanor. I PERSONALLY THINK that thonar should have been LR because like it's the same unit and her unique could have been fixed to like anything the new demonic beast needed and fixed her restrictions.
