The bible does teach that fallen man, by nature, cannot understand things of God. Adam and Jesus both possessed human nature apart from sin. Also, the bible teaches that God opens the mind to understand the truth of God, so that's why it's worthwhile to speak the truth of God's word to people. So to what do you appeal to now, so as to validate your supposed right understanding of spiritual things? Regeneration? Yet Christ said we will know the truth and be set free. When Scripture says God opens the mind, it speaks of Him teaching us... not via gnostic divine enlightenment. This is why the great commission exists... how can they believe in one they've not heard? Nice job! I especially like the way you connect total depravity with PSA toward the end. You're right. Given total depravity Jesus couldn't have been "made like his brothers in every respect" and remain sinless, so it follows that Jesus only appeared to be like us (Docetism), and therefore atonement has to be centered around something other than the incarnation. Enter PSA.

I recognize that venue. That is First Baptist Orlando, a church I'm quite familiar with in my town. They are not Calvinists but they had been renting out their huge church each year to Ligonier Ministries for their annual Orlando Conference. John MacArthur, Justin Peters and other Calvinist discernment channels all pounced on that church and their pastors in 2022 all at once, one inspiring the other to jump in with the false accusations and big lie that it is a pro-LGBTQ church when in reality they are opposed to that and often preach against LGBTQ as sexually immoral sin. These Calvinists know their followers won't check them for accuracy. Those guys make up any slanderous lie about those that are not Calvinists and their audience feeds on such juicy gossip. So, fans of Ligonier Ministries having bought into that big lie made a huge stink and demanded Ligonier hold their 2023 conference in a different Orlando venue, not a pro-LGBTQ church. So, Ligonier at first refused, defended their decision to return to First Baptist Orlando in 2023 but eventually gave in, and they canceled with First Baptist Orlando. Instead, in Spring 2023, Ligonier held their conference at the massive 7 million square feet, government-owned and very pro-LGBTQ Orlando conference center called the OCCC (Orange County Convention Center). Instead of being in their own dedicated church building and sanctuary, they had to share the massive convention facility with other simultaneous convention events like the Global Pet Expo 2023. How ironic and absolutely hilarious.

I would love one of these with them getting into that more- explaining their version of "Sola Scriptura"- i.e. lots of Calvinist prereqs before you're ready- Catechism, WCF/LBCF, RC Sproul lectures, John Piper books, etc. Can't see Scripture clearly without the right glasses after all. Also make sure your copy of sola scriptura is a MacArthur Study Bible. And you can't question any famous Calvinist preachers using only the Bible as your text if you haven't even read Calvin's Institutes yet. Thanks for the laughs! 🙌

It's moot because exhaustive divine determinism entails that we are all totally unable to do anything we weren't decreed by God in eternity past to do anyway. So any talk of the reprobates'--or for that matter the elect's--freedom to do anything is unintelligible except as an epistemological claim (i.e., if I say that a man is free to have a hamburger or a pizza for dinner tonight just means that I don't know that he *wasn't* eternally decreed to take either option at the present time, but whatever he does end up eating was the only actual possibility all along).

While these videos are quite humorous, I have a couple issues, Warren. 1) it should indicate when it’s an actual quote from Calvinists and when it’s the AI generation because people need to understand what Calvinists are actually teaching. For instance when McArthur speaks of us being preprogrammed to believe lies, many may assume you generated that through AI when that is an actual quote. 2) this may not be a concern of yours but it is a concern of mine, but when a Calvinist starts doing this to me (we all know it’s inevitably going to happen) I won’t be able to speak out against that kind of misinformation without criticizing you for doing it too. And while your videos may be more obviously satire some of the things produced in the future may be indistinguishable from what is real which scares me tbh. I guess I just wish you would include a warning on the screen or something when it’s your words and not theirs. I am not trying to rain on the parade here. These videos do expose a false interpretation from Calvinists by means of satire, and it is funny. I’m just worried about less discerning people going down this path and the results. 😢

You have been deceived and have not realized it yet. Of course the owner of this channel disagrees with Reformed theology, but he has deceptively made it seem as if these individuals have made these statements. This is the new world of AI technology that we live in. This person has used voice samples + AI to “make“ these people say these things. Again, the channel owner believes they have already made these statements, but in reality this is deception (satire at best). I say deception because you have believed that they have made these actual statements. The owner will not be able to produce an actual video of them making these statements. I absolutely love how both the Catholic and Orthodox Church each had their own separate councils Post-Schism of East and West and condemned Calvinism as the heresy it is. God bless both the Orthodox and Catholic Churches, once the One, unified Apostolic, Holy, Catholic and Orthodox Church of Jesus Christ. Right now I'm on the fence, torn between Eastern Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity. I know I can no longer be Protestant, that's for sure. I lean much more towards Orthodoxy but I'm still unsure. I don't wanna get this wrong. In all honesty I feel like a homeless person, spiritually speaking.

I'm a theological mutt... I align with some Anabaptist views, some Eastern Orthodox and even some Southern Baptist. Wherever Christ is preached, I can find fellowship. I've felt the compulsion to belong to a specific tradition, but once I realized I belong to Christ I felt more secure wherever I went

Total Depravity is actual Selective Deafness or Selective Blindness. A so-called Totally Depraved person in the eyes of a Calvinist, can do good deeds, speak truth, think rationally, become a Muslim or Hindu or Jew etc, there's just ONE SINGLE thing such a person cannot do, and that is believing the Gospel. It's a misnomer.
