The term 'happy marriage' is a transferred epithet because, even though the marriage itself isn't happy, the people in the marriage are. Personification, which involves giving human characteristics to non-human beings or objects in literature

Its not personification but Pathetic Fallacy. Sometimes there are not so rigid separations between figures of speeches so this sentence could be a bit of both Pathetic Fallacy as well as Transferred epithet.
