1.Solid Gold : pure gold , gold with alloy ( most of it gold) 2.Gold Filled : silver covered of gold sheet with weight not less than 5% of total weight. 3.Gold Vermeil plating 2- 100 micro-inches, silver mostly.

So gold vermeil and gold plated are the same if it’s over silver?

no, gold plated is around 0,5 microns and vermeil is only considered vermeil over 2.5 microns of gold plating

it real gold like a a sheet of paper or like dentist sliver cap your back tooth then it extration you will see cap of sliver but inside is your tooth

In contrast to gold plating, gold-filled jewelry is tarnish resistant and can last many years if properly maintained. If you read between the lines, @sparkeyluv, you'll see that tarnish resistant is not tarnish-proof, and many years, is not a lifetime. If you only wear the jewelry occasionally to go out, it should last a very long time. After many years of daily wear, you can definitely see gold-filled jewelry change color.
