Love this video thank you for all your help. I would like to know what is the difference between Vetro bottle gel polish Black line and Gold Line?
@PaolaPonceNails5 жыл бұрын
The resin (gel) is most likely different than the brush-on and potted brand. Also, I am not sure the Gold line is made in Japan. It came about way after my training, but will update here with full details. It really is not a very special product to me, which is why I do not cover it.

Think of goldline to be more like traditional gel polish and has a coordinating regular polish color.

Very intrigued by Japanese gel. Would definitely like to learn more about it. I've been watching your videos, lots of info! Thank you!

Thanks for staying tuned. Japanese gels are very versatile and fun. The great thing is that you can do it all with them! No need for acrylic, hard gel, poly gel etc...

Great video, Paola. Question: My current project is getting my SDS organized to ensure OSHA compliance. I'm also removing products with HEMA from the salon. I realized I don't have SDS for my Vetro gel pods. Vetro USA hasn't responded to my requests. Any idea of how to get hold of these sheets?
@PaolaPonceNails4 жыл бұрын
Email me. It will be really hard to find hema-Free gel and sticking to that concept, as hema is a common and generally monomer used for adhesion and dilution. Light Elegance, Bio Sculpture, & Ageha Gel are great options though.

Thank you so much for this video, Paola! I can't find the one that you said to invest in the 45 gram jar? I think you said it's called Extreme Clear? I'm looking on their site and can't locate it there are so many options!
Hey Paola, LOVE your videos, very informative and your voice is so soothing 😌 Anyways, I recently got me some vetro gels and I would love to learn more about Japanese gels but I’m not a nail technician. I see you have a class and a kit for beginners in your website, my question is: only nail technicians or can I sign up too? And other thing: how long is the class?
@PaolaPonceNails4 жыл бұрын
Hi there, so it is a course w/ 10 video lessons. The course goes into detail about step by step application of Japanese gel (you can use any brand). Start with my $17 class (and make sure you stick all the way to the end to learn in detail about the Master Gel Nails Course). The class can be found at paolaponcenails.com/3secrets You do not have to be licensed to take any of my classes.

Paola Ponce Nails awesome :) I’m going to try some of your classes. I’m very interested on buying that one kit: Vetro Gel student kit and I will also try the class you mentioned. Thanks for the reply, I appreciate 😊

Do I have to use the vetro top and base in order to use the no. 19 gel pods? Or can I use shellac top and base coat?
@PaolaPonceNails4 жыл бұрын
You don't have to, you can try Shellac. However, I would recommend thicker formulas, like other brands like Leafgel and Kokoist to mix use with and still have good compatibility. Shellac is a hybrid formula, Japanese gel is a "pure" gel.
