I love the Vineyard, being a former Vineyard pastor myself. I also love that Carol keeps saying, “It’s not about being ‘Vineyard.’ It’s about being a Christian.” Yes! Let’s get beyond our flavors, brands, logos, etc and just lift up Jesus so that He can draw people to Himself.

Even better ...it's not about vineyard or being christian, but being a Jesus follower.

I enjoy attending the Anaheim Vineyard because they brought to life many aspects of what is written in the New Testament.

Don't you mean you enjoyed "attending" because, like, there is no more Anahiem, right? Or did Lance win his lawsuit? Haha, I haven't followed up on the news, I guess I should Google this, but last I heard, Alan and Jeremy stole the Vineyard and it went bye-bye....

Just watched this conversation with Carol and Mike. So good to hear the heart, the mindset, the perspective from her regarding why and how things happened and developed as they did. Simple and honest people who tried to be obedient and take steps of faith in what God called them to be and do. I’m encouraged by this recollection and it’s actually another confirmation of the direction I’ve been sensing lately of what God wants to do in our midst. Oh man, how much am I willing to hear, obey and do that may disrupt my comfy Christian life? Whoa…..

Such a wonderful interview. Thanks for taking the time to visit what makes us a Vineyard, Mike. Hearing those conversations sort of re-centers our hearts. We connected and did a video together during Covid, when I was pastoring a Vineyard in MN. I'm now pastoring a Vineyard in central Ohio, still appreciate what you bring to the greater body. Blessings on y'all! Dave Welker

One must never forget that she is talking about the birth of the toronto blessing (or should i say curse) where pastors worldwide attended to take back to their churches worldwide. They received anounting there and the result was chaos. This led to split churches, churches closing down and people leaving as they were not wanting to see people rolling over the floor and barking like dogs in their local church. The trouble with the wimbers and the arnolds was they didnt (and still dont) have enough spiritual discernment to know what was from God or not. The vineyard opened the door to this and spread it wotldwide, it is nothing more than benny hinn rhetoric and theology and the church is now forever contaminated with this spirit. Not many people know that the arnolds and benny hinn got together before the 'toronto blessing' started

Carol is the "founder" of Vineyard now? Haha...boy does history change. Looks like we know one thing that isn't a Vineyard: that church on La Palma. Hahaha... So, Mike Safford, the booted one-time heir apparent of the Anaheim legacy, it's got to sting to know you were rejected by Lance and the guy that did take over the job you expected freaking stole the church! And ten million in cash to boot. God that's funny. And it's hilarous reading the "open letters" from Bob, Carol, and others, crying and whining about being stabbed in the back and betrayed when that has been Vineyard policy for years and years. I mean, they really expected anything different? Its so appropriate, you know, after what was done to me and so many many others. It's perfect that the same was done to all you guys who betrayed me and the host that testifies against you all for being backstabbing, lying cowards. Especially you, Mike, I'm so happy to hear about the theft of Anaheim. God, it's karmic, isn't it? I have to wonder, did anyone stay in Anaheim? I know Alan kept a couple of the Fulton grandkids around, probably for show. But man, what a brutal turn around, brings back Jeremy to help steal the place. You couldn't write this script better if you tried. Well, onward and upward. I wonder what my Father in Hell has stored for you guys next? I'm sure it'll be good....muhahaha...Ah, I'll admit, it's a bit anti-climatic not really being able to see and hear the pain, but I got a good dose reading those letters Bob, Penny, et al wrote. Sweetness in reading about how they feel betrayed and lied to and decieved. Just like they dish out, they received. Just like they played the game, they got played. And I'm sure there's more coming. One can hope someday there will be a news story about the last Vineyard closing it's doors or being stolen by a better man (or at least a smarter one). Someday the cult of Wimber will be gone from the earth. What a glorious day that will be!

I get that you were deeply hurt and are vengeful now because of this. But wouldn't it be better to show that you are better than that by actually being "better than them", rising above it and being kind in spite of everything. "Mine is the vengeance" says the Lord, not ours. That's how we rise above the world, forsaking our desire for revenge and entering the blessing of God by being kind and loving. And the more there is actual reason for revenge and resentfulness, the greater the blessing will be when we forsake being revengeful and leave it all to God. And then you'll also suddenly be able to see the good in others again as well and have a more balanced and compassionate perspective.

@@achimwollmershauser8328 Wonderful advice straight out of the Word, but oh, so difficult to live it out... unless empowered by the Holy Spirit, who we cannot know when He will fall.
