This video offers very detailed information about how to map a WebDAV cloud drive. If you don't have a WebDAV server, please watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHKYg2agl9Oth68 It offers very detailed step-by-step guide on how to use DriveHQ's Cloud File Server / WebDAV Drive Mapping service. It is easier than other WebDAV service as DriveHQ offers WebDAV Drive Mapping Tool for Windows and Mac. www.drivehq.com/downloads/WebDAV_CloudDriveMappingTool.aspx It can completely replace your in-house file servers.

Does it synchronize files? I hope it does not. Also, does it support iphone/iPad?

WebDAV Drive Mapping directly maps cloud storage as a local drive. It does not synchronize your cloud files to the local disk. To access or edit cloud files from iPhone/iPad/Android, you can use DriveHQ FileManager for iPhone, iPad and Android.

Having a hell of a time trying to set my folder to be public so people don't have to type in my password to see it. Maybe it's because I'm on a mac

WebDAV is not optimized for public folders. Users usually use it for remote file sharing and collaboration. When a user is editing a file, the file is locked; if another user opens the file, it will be read-only. If you publish a folder so that other users can access it, then it should be read-only. Otherwise, there will be very severe security issue. If you just want to publish a folder for other people to download files, you can use DriveHQ's file hosting/publishing feature or the anonymous FTP feature. @@DriveHQCameraFTP Ah thanks. I think I got confused thinking it could share public links like dropbox. (someone said they usually don't need to enter their password when they view a file on it so it really threw me off) thanks
