Well water is very interesting how it works. Who would have thought drilling so deep into the ground would get you your own water supply? The areas in San Diego that you see wells the most are the rural Mountain areas that are on the outskirts of the city. Make sure you pay attention to the water and have lab test done so you know if there have been any contaminants in the water. Since the rural areas of San Diego used to be primarily used for agricultural use, the fertilizers have leached into the soils causing high nitrate levels in peoples well water.
