I hate to see the negative comments here. Not all exhortation has to be serious and verse by verse teaching. There is certainly a place and a need for that, too! However, I think Bishop Hamon here is speaking as a father in the faith - and with great life and personality - which is a testimony to the sustaining grace of God over his life and his ministry. Honor is such a lost art in our culture.

Unfortunately for me, preachers no longer sound like they are speaking what God wants you to hear, they only sound like motivational speakers saying all the cliche things to make you feel good

IMO Boxing talk That’s understandable. The amazing thing about the kingdom is we all have specific gifts, and they are wrapped in different vessels called people. There is definitely a pastor, preacher, apostle or prophet that will have a style that suits you! But, what I’ve experienced is the closer you get to God and being able to hear the Holy Spirit it becomes less about the person talking and more about the message!! God bless your journey!
