I have Scorpio 1st house, including my Pluto ruler and Black Moon Lilith, illuminated by a Grand Trine Pisces Mars in 5th and Cancer Jupiter in 9th. It runs very deep, very mystical, dreamy, dark, intense, expansive, it packs a punch 😂 It complements very well my Capricorn stellium + Moon in 3rd. All this to say, I’m a Taurus Sun conjunct Mercury in 7th, YES to the being very Venusian in my relationships but dear god it is not the most significant energy in my chart. Understanding this helped me integrate so many aspects of my shadow and embracing the unique blueprint of the energy I give off. I like to say, the rising sign is the highest version of yourself. It's really true. Ascendant is very important and evident. I am a Pisces Sun but Taurus Ascendant. People often see me as a Quiet Lad but when I am angry that's another story. I talked a lot and I'm like the Taurus Sun Sign People when being angry. I am not too shy as my Pisces Sun Sign Personality fades away its shyness when I'm meeting new people. My Pisces Sun Sign energy makes me feeI always that I want changes in my life but my Taurus Ascendant energy made me feel that I don't need to change anything in my life including myself since Taurus is a Fixed Sign. So hell yeah, ASCENDANT makes a lot of sense.

I love this video, and the approach. When I discovered what rising sign really is, I stopped introducing myself with the Sun sign. I am Leo rising, and I relate to this sign way more than anything in my chart, this is 1000000% me. My Sun is in Capricorn, and I definitely see Capricorn traits as something that I value or hold of high regard as some type of ideal, this is a lot of what I am aware of as well - boundaries, responsibility, stamina. Well with me there is no difference ....we all have a 1 in 12 chance that our Sun and Rising is the same.....I'm a Gemini Sun, Gemini Rising and Gemini Mercury....all the 1st House.....and my Moon in Virgo.....So a whole lot of Mercury there, and people have said that I'm Genuine, What you see and hear is what you get! I had to get my birth chart rectified. Something intuitively told me that my birth time was wrong, plus there were typos on my birth certificate. Went from a 1° Virgo rising to a 22° Cancer rising, born 3 hours earlier. Now all of my transits make sense, my birth chart fits, definitely more than a mask. I’ve seen how actual events related to childbirth/motherhood difficulties have played out and completely changed my life, especially with my moon in Capricorn. Literally almost died giving birth to my 2nd child.

I had a very similar story as well and something told me I had it to get rectified. Initially the astrologer had thought I was a 0° cancer rising (my rising was at 6° based on my cert.) and I reached out to him years later and figured it is in late Gemini rising. The transit fits well. Sometimes I have to break the limited description of astrology bc I’m not a talkative person as the description but I talk to myself a lot. Haha

Scorpio rising / capricorn sun / aquarius moon, here. Honestly? I feel connected to those three pretty evenly most of the time. I love dressing in black and red and wearing leather jackets and boots. I tend to be a bit of a loner yet I still have many friends. I love music and singing, and my favorite artists are black veil brides, asking alexandria, emma blackery, faun, heilung, the pretty reckless, and so on. I have a number of long distance friendships and in person friendships. The line between friend and lover can get blurry with me, and i like things unconventional, but on my terms. All this said, I have a career in accounting and i like the stability of a 9-5 office job, so long as i can have enough time to play on the weekends. If you ask me, I think the picture i painted in this comment really shows my scorpio/capricorn/aquarius-ness pretty well.

i'm a libra rising with a sun in leo and i've got the moon and venus conjunct in libra while mars is conjunct my sun with just a degree separating them 😅 i've definitely seen how both manifest in my life. i'm into visual arts and all the sports and physical activity i've shown interest in are more "solo" performance arts which make things look easy but in fact are super metal, namely stuff like ballet and figure skating. i think it really shows the libra-leo energy especially with mars thrown into the mix. i always want to make shit look pretty in an extra way that would put any competitors to shame but not so much that it would be cringe-ly overbearing. also doesn't help that jupiter is hanging out in leo 🙃

I love this discussion of the asc. In my studies, I found it compelling that my rising at 7° Leo is the fixed star Praesaepe. One of the attributes of that star indicates blindness of the left eye, and while I am not blind per se, I have always had very poor eyesight out of the left eye, while my right eye is nearly perfect vision. Pretty crazy right?? Since I fell in love with studying astrology, I have to say that it is easy to look at people and spot physical characteristics that do truly point to their rising sign. Fascinating stuff. Leo rising always has the hair, the mane of the lion, we are vane about our hair... every rising sign has those certain things. Love this Cam.

I find as I age I step into different aspects of my chart. My venus Libra was me mostly as a kid. But adulthood after 20 stepped me into sun Scorpio expression. I have Cancer rising at 29 degree. I have sun, mercury, Venus and chiron in Leo. As I'm getting older there is a contradiction I'm becoming aware of between the two energies regarding what I need on an energetic level. Part of me wants to remain inward, stay at home, do things that provide healing to myself and those I care about VS spending time with friends, being loud, expressing myself outwardly. I realized that during cancer season where often I create my own feelings of imbalance simply by being extroverted in a moment when I needed to pause and go within and vice versa. Not sure if this makes sense but I'm realizing I need to cherish having my ascendant at this degree of cancer vs overfocusing on my leo energy. I relate, however the integration of the boundaries and softness of this water element is becoming crucial in me feeling safe, calm and whole. In your Part Two Video, Are you going to mention the importance of the Planets in your first House? Also, the Aspects towards the Ascendant like having Planets Conjunct/Opposite/Square the Ascendant make a big impact on how the Individual is seen imo. You could act like a different planet everyday or every Min depending on the aspects.

The Sun is a point of focus, direction, action and tasks. I have a Birthday Astrology book. There is a date structure per calendar month within it, just thought you would like to know. (1st) Sun (2nd) Moon (3rd) Jupiter (4th) Uranus (5th) Mercury (6th) Venus (7th) Neptune (8th) Saturn (9th) Mars so every 9 (10th) Sun (11th) Moon and so on. From another book Monday (Moon) Tuesday (Mars) Wednesday (Mercury) Thursday (Jupiter/Neptune) Friday (Venus) Saturday (Saturn/Uranus) Sunday (Sun). I'm born on the 26th which is Saturn, and I always find that people born on moon dates, are like an opposite to me, or have some strong prevalent meaning in my life, if you know what I mean (2nd) (11th) (20th) (29th) which are dates related to the Moon. Obviously dates like the Sun, Jupiter, and Uranus, are (positive) and the Moon, Saturn, and Neptune are (Negative) the other dates are (Neutral).

I definitely relate to my rising sign but I don’t think it plays a significant part in my personality compared to my sun and moon. Everyone I form deep relationship’s with are signs that are traditionally compatible with my sun and moon. I have a libra rising and I have never had a close friendship with an air sign in my life. Rising sign describes one's outward personality, and it always contributes to the way they present themselves to the world. However, when it comes to one's physical body, there is no correlation between the Rising Sign and one's physical body. I know that a person's body shape is influenced by genetic factors, lifestyle, exercise, and diet. Otherwise, when astrologers refer to the Rising Sign, they are talking more about the psychological and behavioral traits, not one's physical body. I personally think that those who describe the physical appearance of each rising sign need to have a second thought. I just don't see the logic on how a Rising Sign in Astrology would correlate with one's physical body. That's what I've realized recently.

I don’t relate to being a Virgo rising at all unless I’m like a Kurt Cobain or Layne Staley Virgo rising. I’m not organized. I hate cleaning. Hate working in general. Don’t look like a Virgo at all I don’t think. The only thing I relate to is Virgo stomach issues. Unless there’s some chaotic escapism that Virgo hides from people, I can’t relate. I’m a Pisces with a Leo moon and Pisces Mercury, sag Mars.

I never really identified as a Leo per se, I'm a Leo rising, but my Sun is in Taurus with a stellium of all personal planets (Mars, Venus, Mercury, and Chiron) and my Moon is in 2 degrees Gemini (so very close to Taurus). Since I have a debilitated Sun (conj Mars) I could never really express that Sun quality that Leo has. So, despite my Leo asc, I'm pretty much a Taurus girl, cos' all those personal planets hijacked my Sun! :D

My birth time is correct. Straight from my birth certificate...I'm a cancer rising in western astrology...I slightly relate ...I'm very much a home body ...very private and put my walls up hella high if I don't trust... Or if I've been hurt...but I don't look like what they say cancer risings are supposed to look like...my face isn't round...I don't have doe eyes and I got nothing going on in my chest area...so idk

I am testing my Big 3 signs now (Taurus Sun, Libra Moon, Aquarius Rising) … my theory is that my day to day life is my Aquarius Rising as it feels like the here and now to me. My Libra Moon is my deep internal stuff, what my heart soul and spirit is guiding me towards (it can be VERY loud but mostly a quiet nudge), and my Taurus Sun is straight up the Bull energy sugar-coated in Venus love lol …. Unless you start pokin the Bull most will never see this backside of me … thanks Cam!

I always feel exactly how my sun is described as a ( cusp?) Aquarius sun, January 22. But if I want to know why things are playing out the way they are and how to smooth them, I always relate to my Gemini ascendant. I also LIVE in indecision... which I was told is not unusual for a Gemini. So...in watching KZbin astrology I lean towards my ascendant. I'm an artist so my Aquarius nature *hates* repetitive and tired design. Gemini caffeinates it 😂 Great vid Cam 👍
