I'm just learning zentangle myself and I think what pleases and attracts me the most is the repeated patterns. It's very calming, isn't it? Your doodle turned out very good. I especially liked the last one you showed (the one in yellow). Good luck!

Neurographica is my go to … I do like to include zen tangle….working on both can be zen for sure…but I was told that THERE ARE NO RULES in art. So decided I am not a purist ? So very glad to discover you in line….hi five!❤

I discovered neurographic art and love it. It truly does what they say it does. I just discovered zentangle and was really interested in creating the 3d effects. I think I have learned that the neuro art is best used when really wanting to clear my mind and calm my anxiety. zentangle is great when I want to explore new patterns that create something anyone can see and go "ah cool". I think I am going to do what you suggested and try to find zentangles that are a natural fit into my neuro art. Thank you for doing this video. Loved it.

Totally agree! The neurographic is more flowing and requires no thought. I have been working on merging the two together over the past week, do drop by tomorrow as I'll be publishing my 'Crafty Update' and revealing all the Neurographic vs Zentangle merges! Thank you for dropping by and for your kind words :)
