@@alesillo bro i played dps doom for 4 years straight, he was absolutely awful especially for the last 2 years of the game, and quake would tell you that, he got countered by a good 70% of the heroes in this game, the only reason doomfist players were able to counter the counters is because they got so 4th dimensional with the hero and the game its self it was more like a game of chess for doomfist mains then it was a shooter and dont get me started on the amount of bugs that also made him horrible, the only thing you got right here was that he is way more fun

@@pastromer8552 Men, I understand your point but when I played doom dps it was more fun than as a tank, it is true what you say that almost all the heroes countered it, but those who knew how to use it well did a lot of damage and impact on the team, as a tank it is not the same, any main tank knows how to stop the doom main quickly, and right now the fists that it carries aren't even as bad for the players at least as dps you killed it with a single punch xD, but as I told you, doomfist is not designed for be a tank because the role of the tank is to protect your allies

Its so much easier to have fun and improve when you aren't getting berated for the character just because its inconvenient for them. Every day on the first game I always get so much anxiety to the point where my body goes cold. At that point I just straight hop into a game and try to just ignore it but I usually lose the first game because of it. Shit is damaging af to mental health and makes it way harder to enjoy games at least for me. Since it's such a hard character it's so conflicting to think "is it just me or the character" because there's straight super humans like zbra and quake and many others who obviously have made it to gm with him so it makes you think too much instead of focusing on improving.

i would like to share a bug so you can add it to the list: if you cancel seismic slam with rocket punch on the same frame seismic slam starts, it will take your rocket punch cooldown without actually using the ability somewhat tricky to replicate but it has happened to me countless times in real matches and it has gotten me killed each time

If you're talking about trying to engage with an empowered rocket punch by slamming then cancelling it (to propel yourself while also charging up punch), then yeah this has happened to me plenty of times. Can't tell if its a bug or not, but it is REALLY annoying to have the charged up punch I held onto to disappear right as I'm using it. I end up just putting myself in a bad spot with no cd's and feeding the enemy team..

For real. I don't particularly like doom as a character that much, but the duality of how doom vs other characters are treated is kinda stupid. Doom got strong, and he was over nerfed immediately with Blizz said they will figure our how to balance him later. From his lore to his kit I loved the char. wanted to one trick and especially after seeing some top tier dooms I was like this char is for me. The no reg slams are the biggest punch in the gut. I think its because OW used winstons jump animation for dooms slam, so sometimes you do a Winston leap instead of seismac slam

Guess that's too much to ask for in diamond/masters. Anyways I swapped to Hog first but then they get and Orisa (kms) and I have to swap to Orisa and boy oh boy is she boring AF. legit I won the game just because the other tank was abusing a meta pick and had no knowledge of playing tank or the game. The no emp punch bug is because when you alt after a punch it doesn't give emp punch because it reads that you already used it even tho it never came in the first place you can recreate it as much as you like in the practice range, just get your ult, punch and immediately ult you will not get an emp punch 100% of the time, and we are screaming to blizzard since season 2 lunch to fix it and nope patch after patch it's still there while hanzo and others got fixed

Pointing anything out is useless, blizzard will do whatever makes them the most money. A large majority of the overwatch player base is not good at the game and wants easy characters that you can quickly pick up and use without any practice and that is roadhog, so making him op at the low skill floor equals the majority of the overwatch player base spending money on him. Doom is hard and only gets played at higher skill levels (even when he got buffed he was still only good when you actually practiced and put effort into learning him) so there’s a far smaller player base willing to spend money on him so he stays neglected. It will never change

nope. if you are charging punch, middle of punch, punching someone and you use ult you will not get empowered punch. orisa spear bug has to do with being able to use abilities while charging punch

The most painful thing for me is when u try to charge your fist, the enemy falls for it and shoots you but they miss. Watching 2 junkrat bombs fly to the left and right of my screen just fill me with pain. I'm a doom main hovering around the gm 1 mark (so obviously not quite at your level), but i don't understand how you can say that he is worse than season 1 doom. Season 1 doom was the most one dimensional doom has ever been. You get empowered punch and you have an impact. You don't get punch and you are worthless. Sure the empowered punch has a lot less bite in it's current form but you can go throughout a game barely getting any significant empowered punches and still do fine. It's likely just a difference in playstyles, but I would prefer a doomfist even more nerfed than he is in his current state than season 1 doom, as long as they keep the stuns the same length and meteor gives empowered punch.

Check this out Sojourn who has been an absolute shit stain of a problem in OW2 since release is still owning the game for months. Doomfist becomes good for one week and *BAM* instantly gets murdered with nerfs to the parts of his kit he needed and we got left with the most useless stuff ever. How exactly does blizzard look at his block damage and think "Hmmm...better up it to 100 because 90 wasn't enough of a pain to get!" They gave us legit just an empty gun and a dream to make things work but really we're better off using rammattra who is gonna be horrifically oppressive if hog is gone.

Blizzard actually did get rid of a bug recently, there was a bug last patch, that I stumbled on whilst testing stuff with friends, that allowed you to delay the visual queue of powerblock while also retaining all the benefits of blocking, essentially letting you trick people into shooting you, it was patched out with this current update we're on now. So I guess deep down they DO care about fixing doom. Ugh.
