I am a Fashion Merchandising + Fashion Media student at the number four fashion school in the United States, also known as Kent State University. Do your professors know that you’re an influencer? Are any of your classmates influencers? Do many people recognize you at school? Love your videos always super informative

Most or my professors knew I was an influencer. If it was a larger class of like 300+ lecture I would often talk about it in assignments. There are other people on campus with smaller insta blogs but nobody at the same stage I am in. When I left school I had 1.5K on KZbin and I still would meet a subscriber every weekend while out but my platform has grown tremendously since!

I’m thinking about majoring in business with a minor in fashion. What do you recommend?

Depends where you go! If your school offers fashion as a major and you know you want to go into that field than take it as a major and minor in business however if you’re unsure start with business :)

You can always switch your major and/off add a second minor!!

what classes do you recommend taking in high school that would help?

Dual enrollment rather than AP classes that way the credit transfers over regardless of the grade. I took 10 APs but didn’t get all those credits because I didn’t pass all 10. If you’re going into fashion merch take statistics and microeconomics prior if you can. Also general classes like art history, English lit/Lang, and science + lab classes to knock those out! If you don’t come in with credits prior you will be in lots of core classes your first year!!

Emilee Novak whichever you think you will do best in. For kents fashion program, all three would transfer over and fulfill the science credit!
