This is part 2 of a series I did documenting time with my band, Last Chance Band, as we did a run of weekend shows. This video follows our time in Whitefish, Montana where we played at a venue called The Great Northern.

Very nicely shot video and great document of the (mostly) whole ordeal. I love live rock and roll and country is also way up there. I got to see the country's classic artists that are most associated with rock & roll before they check out and off of this planet for good, Johnny Cash and Buck Owens. I'd bet you are a fan of Don Rich's work on those recordings.

What’s your setup when you play these small venues… are you running through helix or amp?
@stevetharms
@stevetharms Жыл бұрын
I will almost always bring an amp and mic it, normally a fender Princeton with a 12 inch speaker. I will occasionally bring the helix if I need to travel light or if it’s an acoustic show

Do you do any originals?
@stevetharms
@stevetharms 8 ай бұрын
Yes, when we play live we will normally incorporate some originals, it depends on the venue if we’ll do a full original set or play more covers as demonstrated here. A lot of times for bar gigs/small clubs people want to hear songs they know so we will normally just sprinkle in a few covers through the night

@@stevetharms cool. I’m just north of Portland, wondering what the scene is like. I haven’t played out in nearly 20 years. Def miss playing out. Probably slowed down a bit, though!
