What it’s like having dentures| Post 7 weeks

Hi everyone!! I cannot believe it’s been 7 weeks since I got full dentures 🤭 I am still very happy with my decision and I’m loving my new smile. I’m obsessed with my teeth ❤️

What a lovely, uplifting video. Thank you! I have 20 teeth left but smile is compromised and apparently need two root canals and have some infection.. Weighing all my options . All I think anout is the enormous amount of money to repair my compromised teeth that will most likely keep faiiing. But, your positive experience and attitude is very, very helpful and inspiring. Gives me hope. Thanks again!

Good Morning Angela. Your helping so so many people out here that are maybe thinking about getting full dentures and or have just gotten them. I can’t believe that your channel hasn’t taken off more than it has , as your content is so good and your denture journey is amazing. I thank you for helping me think about things I had not thought about in getting full dentures. I’m just not there yet. I must say, I am so excited about getting my bottom partial, but then I ask myself, how is just a bottom partial going to work when I have a few back upper teeth gone? I don’t know, maybe I’m over thinking? Would you consider doing a video explaining the ? 3 D Dentures versus regular ones? My fear is that where I live, the closest ortho is 2 hrs away, well no, there is a group about 40 minutes away that is known for their dentures, but I know a few people younger than me that has had a bad experience with their dentures and one 41 yr old says she cannot eat with hers so she takes them out to eat. She has had to go in for adjustments several times. But I think it’s because she didn’t keep them in post op. She couldn’t handle the pain, so she took them out on day 2 and didn’t put them back in for several days. I know had she listened to the dentist and did everything she was supposed to do, her journey would have been a positive one. She was even going to work( in home care aide) without her dentures in as well as hanging out with her New Boyfriend with them out. 😮🤦🏼‍♀️🙈👀🫣😳. You’ve got a beautiful smile Angela. You did prior to dentures, but WOW, your dentures are Stunning. Most dentures I’ve seen others get just aren’t pretty like yours, so that scares me in not wanting to go that route. God truly blessed you with a great Dentist. And oral surgeon. Can’t wait for you to do an updated Am and Pm skincare routine. Changed the subject. 🤷🏼‍♀️ lol. Have you heard of Experiment skincare line? I ordered their Super Surge Serum mostly glycerin. It has transformed my dry, dehydrated skin into more so normal with just a little dehydration under my eyes and chin area. But 90% better. I’m learning that hydration is the key for me. Do you have a “ Where Ya Bin” store near ? It’s an Amazon overstock; returns and discontinued items, paying little to nothing. I have found some high high end skincare products and a pack of 12 Korean sheet mask( variety) and paid $1.00 for the pk. I’ve also bought some really pretty blouses in my size paying $1.00 for each. And on Thursdays, everything is 0.25. I’m not a shopper, but am addicted to this store. When I get home, I scan the barcodes again and list everything I buy and put the original price down and what I paid. Over $400.00 worth of just a few items and paid only $4.00 for everything. Also purchased a beautiful, expensive trench like jacket( oversized Pea Jacket) in camel. It’s so so lovely. Hope you have one so you can go dig thru the bins and find some amazing items. I do take surgical glove to wear. lol.

Hey there sweetie thanks for sharing I am in my first week of having my upper and bottom dentures I have a flipper denture on the bottom, and I have really been doing well I'm in Oklahoma I went to smile shop, and they were so awesome so great, I have to say that my smile looks so much like me, I look so much like my mom now they said I am doing well with all that's going on in my mouth, 12 teeth extracted top and bottom and I have done really well with healing, I've only had them adjusted once so far looking forward for it to get better... But this is a question are your teeth your temporary or permanent, I have temporary set for up to 6 months and then permanence are made

I will keep these for at least 2 years (maybe forever) I say 2 years because it will be 2 years before my dental insurance rolls back over and will pay for a new set. Your smile is beautiful! I have an appt today with the dentist to discuss my options. Did you consider all on 4 implants? Not sure I like having screws in my mouth or having that big loan to pay for them which I really can't afford. I'll have to watch the vids you posted on your dental process from the start. Hi 😁 I did not consider implants because of the cost!! I knew going into this dentures would be my personal choice. I have heard both good and negative experiences when it comes to dentures and implants so I would say research research research and also go to a couple different dentists for some consultations and read their patient portal reviews ❤️ Thank you so much for the kind compliment, it feels so good to smile big and not worry about anything other than the laughter 😉

You look so good as have many others I've seen in dentures and it is so much more affordable than the other options.
