I get that too haha but I'm ok with it only because they're other Subarus in the subie family. There was actually this one time I was just coming back to my car from getting groceries and this little kid getting back into his mom's car was like "your car is so cool" so I started it up for him and let him rev it a couple times. Couldn't have been older than 10 but it still was nice to make that kid's day. His mom was cool with it too.

The sound system is terrible. I can have a full conversation with the sound all the way up. Also, anyone who gets this car and doesnt want to be heavily modified, COBB or MAP stage 1 no bolt on tune is still HIGHLY recommended imo. Wont negatively affect the car at all and imo is an EXTREMELY necessary adjustment. I would never go back to stock tune.
@DAREDEVIL5032 жыл бұрын
I respect the stock thing for ur reasoning anyways, cause that’s what I would do if I had a newer one worth A chunk! Mine is older and I’m just going to mod it while the miles are lower, not alot just try to hit around the 325-350 range and make it Sound Amazing because I plan to keep it as Long as Possible and Hunt an STI down when I’m done paying for this one. P.S. if STI’s are extinct then I’ll probably hunt down a type-R or something similar to an STI!!
@artperez823 жыл бұрын
Ok I totally disagree with his assessment of the back seats. For size of this car the back seats offer plenty of room and comfort. Unless you want to tune and track you’re car the WRX is just as quick and lighter and gets better gas mileage than the STI.

It depends on how well the car was taken care of. I'm no expert on the engines of the WRX, but I have heard that some start to see problems around the 60k mile mark. It could be the older models that this happens to more though. If you know that a WRX has been taken care of and has relatively low miles I don't see a problem in looking for a model from a couple years ago. Hope this helps Bharat

suddenly everyone going the speed limit gets you irritated af. owning a base model tho the seat position always feels off as well as foot position for the clutch.

I own a '20 WRX w/performance package and I use the car quite a lot to haul my golden retriever around. I'm also from a more rural state and was thinking of doing some road tripping with the dog. It sounded like you had some experience with doing that, but that it would've been more enjoyable with a larger vehicle. Could you elaborate a little bit more on your experience? Much appreciated.
@dylanthompson99833 жыл бұрын
That's awesome! So yeah the main problem I run into when I road trip with my Fiancée is that if we want to bring our dog and his kennel, along with all our luggage, it usually doesn't all fit in the car.

roof racks and a cargo box or cargo basket are life savers. they're pricey, but the space it gives makes all the difference in a road trip

So got my WRX limited a day. Love the car. But question. I noticed the steering angle on the left side is more towards the door and the right side 3pm is more closer to me. Is that the case with yours too?
@dannyboyfuze3 жыл бұрын
Is not the alignment but the steering wheel it self. Is just a a tad bit.

Looking to get one in a few months... So thanks for your input. Only Mod I think I would do would be the access port, have you ever used one, if so is it as good as others have said?

Awesome man! What year are you looking at? And nope, I'm not too familiar with a lot of mods. I have been recommended the access port before though.

@@dylanthompson9983 probably a 2016 or 2017. Maybe 2018 if prices drop toward the end of the year and new car production picks up. 🤞

The AP is well worth it. Get the CAI(cold air intake) with it, definitely compliments the car and makes it feel much better. It adds the extrasensory that makes the car 3x better!

im not sure i would ever upgrade to the current sti because its a 2021 model year with a motor from the 90's practically. The new FA motors address a lot of common issues and the rumored FA24 for the 2022 sti might be worth looking in to. regardless i just like my car XD
