Edinburgh is the hidden gem of comedy. Have you ever been to The Monkey Barrel before. That place is sick!

@@orinpiercy9769 I absolutely love the Monkey Barrel. That was my home club when I lived in that city:) They covered a clowning class for a handful of acts to attend over a weekend which I attended. They were even very supportive of us starting our own weekly mic in the city. I believe they even provided the mic and speakers! Can’t say enough good things! Thanks for sharing that:)

Why are the ceilings in comedy clubs always so low?

@@robertbeaudoin8012 It’s actually better if they are. In a room with high ceilings the laughs can disappear into the rafters, whereas it’ll billow if they’re low. Laughter is contagious so it helps to be sitting close to others as well. Thanks for asking a question I knew the answer to:)
