Great video. Like the commentary. That last shot of the video, watching him get off the ice with both knees at once is a skill I have never been able to master. Maybe I’m too weak and fat, or maybe I’m missing some key element. I hate when a rebound is directly in front of me and I have to get up 1 leg at a time. Even though I can do it super fast, I’m left leg dominate so my hips turn slightly off square every time, leaving my right side open for a fraction of a second. A few elite shooters have exploited this weakness of mine, but generally I can get back square before anyone can fire off a shot. But if I never had to get off square after a rebound, I believe that would be better. Any tips or tricks you would recommend or can you do a video explaining the secret of getting back on both skates in one move? Thanks.

Thank you! I get that, it is not an easy thing to do. I would say the best trick I can give you is to really drive your hips/knees up. To be fair though, I rarely ever use that move though. If the puck is in tight enough to where you need to get up on both feet I would just stay down.
