Awwwwwww, this is soooooo wonderful to see, I had just won Super Model of West Africa, had relocated to New York in the summer of 1995. This was one of my first jobs. We were both actors as you can see it wasn't real and there are no b4 pictures to support the storyline. I was so slim then, and with my old nose! 😄Thank you darling. 💋

I was 35 when I was blessed with twin sons. Three years later while walking hand in hand with them into the grocery store I ran into someone from high school, she said "oh hi are these your grandbabies", I said No I birthed these myself", she then tried to insult me with "oh you had your babies late", without skipping a beat I said, "absolutely not, they came right on time so that I could be truly present in their lives instead of out in these streets". The look on her face was priceless. LOL

Dear Fumi, I thank God for your life. I never commented before. Some years back I randomly saw your channel. I tried my best to follow you now and then. Am 40, married and have 3 kids. For the first in my whole life I feel like am choosing me. Finally seeing myself through the Almighty's eyes. This means am leaving behind so many things that are no longer serving me. It is a painful proces. But am trusting for what He has in store for me. The woman He intended me to be. Playing small ends in 2024. Thank you for your story, your testimony and mostly your obedience to Him You have no idea how much this means to us. May God continue to richly you bless you. Someday we will meet. Love from the Netherlands.

I just went down memory lane and she'd a few tears because I was often attacked for being pretty and DIFFERENT than status quo. My self esteem was wrecked for a period of time while in middle school because girls seemed to hate me. I was a shapely, pretty, tomboy. Boys loved me because I was cool AND pretty...and I hated it! I was often attacked physically and verbally, oh the mind games! I was very sheltered and naive and wanted girl friends and girls preyed on this setting me up to look stupid and I fell for it often! To this day I don't trust easily! 😢 And to this day, I hold myself back. I needed this. Not anymore. Message received, God! Thank you, Fumi. ❤

You have literally told my life story. Dumbing myself down, shrinking myself because of people's comments who i have now discovered were just jealous most of the time. I feel like genuine people see greatness in me that i had stopped seeing in myself, even those that arent genuine see it and it bothers them so much they feel the need to diminish me. I often wonder why people who are doing way better than me still see me as a threat...All this drama has really affected my life, made me lag behind and everything. Its only now at age 37 that i am picking up the pieces of my life and moving as the girl i think i am. Thank you for this video aunt Fumi❤❤❤❤

Hello!!! Fumi I used to do that too, in high school I noticed that I was the only girl that had the hips sticking out and especially when we had physical education class and we wore the little skirt oh I hated my hips not knowing I was wonderfully and beautifully created by my creator. I started accepting myself when my PE teacher had way more hips than I and most of the men teachers go crazy when they see her👀 I was young and wanted to look like and fit in with everyone. Thank God I’m a mature woman today 🙏🙏🙏 13:59

At the age of 26, I feel like I have wasted so many years playing small and playing it safe. I have a huge fear of being in the spotlight, but as I continue to watch your videos and do what I can step by step to create a change in my life I am inspired to keep pushing forward. First of all Fumi-your makeup looks divine. To your second point, individuality and uniqueness should be valued. I agree wholeheartedly and the Almighty created us to be unique. So many people ( not talking about you) pay lip service to the idea of individuality. But the moment you think, dress, speak, or act differently than they expect or desire, you are called a hater or a contrarian. That is group think at its finest. In this upcoming new year, I want to continue to invest in myself and that comes from loving myself. No longer will I worry about those who don't see the value in me. That ship has sailed. That doesn't mean I can't love you and wish the best for you. I just have to do it from a greater distance. Blessings to all.

OMG!!! I can relate soooo much to what you are saying in this video. As an Aries myself (April18th) I have a hard time with girl friendship.. jealousy, envy because I’m confident and they are always saying that I have a strong personality, when I get into a room, people are only talking about me.. so I quit trying to change myself to please their lack of self esteem.. I completely assume my personality, joy, extraverted me🥳🥳🥳 I’m an only girl with 5 brothers so ai always get along better with men.. simple, no drama, no jealousy, no backstabbing, no gossip. Happy holidays y’all🎄

Yes aunty Fumi, please ignore the very hateful people whose sole intent is to bring you down on these platforms. It's good that they've been made an example of, also acknowledging both good and bad comments is what makes you YOU. However nexting these people won't hurt any of us. The envious friendships and people seem to be even more of a thing today, shamefully. It's the era of scrolling and feeling bad for yourself, dreaming of all the plastic surgery and hating on those who have it or don't want it or are confident enough minding their own business. Sisters, hold your head and your tall body high. Just think, if they're bad you don't want them in your life anyway. As we say "Mais vale sozinha que mal acompanhada" Let's surround ourselves (by choice) only with uplifting people who want us well, here's to a successful 2025 🥂

Celebrate all your acomplishments! You will be suprized at how this will give you confidence & let you be your unique self. For example, I knit & crochet for fun. Years ago people told me those were "old lady" hobbies, now they are fashionable. When I started making garments, I learned that I can have garments that fit my body & personality. The feelings of acomplishment whenever someone compliments them is amazing. Now I make extra money by working on commissioned pieces while at my regular job. A "can do and I will learn" attitude can take one far in life!
