Massive thank you, Josh. As you can see it don't get out much, so the chance to talk watches was a huge thrill. Anyone who watches all the way through deserves a reward 😂🎁🍻

It was a real pleasure to finally meet you as well Peter! As someone who has listened through this conversation nearly twice now (🥇), I can say there is loads of fantastic insight and information regarding what it is to run a microbrand. As well as your character as a microbrand owner. I am very much looking forward to the Mandala launch and we will definitely need to do this again! Next time I promise there will be far fewer technical difficulties😅.

So as I'm watching this, I'm wearing my Bunker and just pledged the Mandala....you guys are great! I really appreciate your dedication to your customers! FWIW...I don't think Elshan is human! He's truly deserving of his success!

I’m glad Peter dropped the Second Hour text under the logo, it makes for a cleaner dial, Now that his logo is established the watch community knows your watches. Thanks Josh for finding a use for the gift👍

Always great content. Bravo to both, you and your brands in general. Just got my "view" reward 🤪, and funny enough i was about to start commenting about the font type... not anymore! 🤐 LOL But what i realy loved was the end, i felt blessed in a way to hear you both shout out Direnzo's new (amazing WHITE dial!!!) release. Looks like my personal taste matches watches/ brands/ makers that share the same passion and totally appreciate eachother, straight from the heart, no nonsence. Thanks again, be well, stay creative and in such solidarity. Bravo.

New to your channel. I was curious about this interview because of one of Peter's creations making it to my doorstep from another collector. It's good to put a face to the brand

Loved hearing about the business end of things. Keep plugging along and congratulations on getting funded at Kickstarter. Please get the sound issues fixed though. That was brutal.

Interesting...... its quite obvious these are labours of love. You don’t need to be in the business to know the margins must be thin. The gross numbers involved moneywise are clearly not going to make anyone rich. Unless you have a vision to grow I don’t know why they bother! That said I’m glad they do...... I have pledged for a Mandala... it looks to be a superb watch. I wonder what the addition of an SW200 would have made to the price? That said the Miyota 9015/39 is perhaps an equivalent quality.
@swisswatchcompany17103 жыл бұрын
It is a unique line of work, one that we have grown to love. Although there are not fortunes to be made it has many benefits that come with it. Working in this community is one of them. You will not be disappointed with the Mandala, it is a great build for a great price.

I do not understand when Peter was talking about Hamtun Watches. He said, "the backers need to take a chill pill and let go of what they paid for and any hopes of getting their money back". (paraphrase). That is ridiculous. I understand the owner of Hamtun watches is going through a rough time, but using that as an excuse to not get what you paid for or getting your money back is crazy.

He has a much better microphone than I do, it's just that my levels were in the red and unfortunately as they were mixed directly into a single audio stream it's not really possible to turn one up or down without impacting the other. Next time I'll have a proper quality mic we'll do better
