You are welcome!! Yes you can visit although current shengen visas to Portugal are still limited to essential travel. Its best to apply for a job seeker visa or a visa that allows you to work like a D type visa if you want to work..

@@titusngumbau7990 No I did not have to travel to Maputo when I did my application back then.However, they have changed the process very recently and you would now need to travel to Maputo for the submission

Yes, the Portuguese consulate in Maputo is the one that issues long term study or work visas. The Greece Embassy in Kenya is for Tourist visas
