The defense let them down and the inability to establish a running game early put Dallas in the spot to get torched before they could even get a game plan going. I doubt much changes w/ Prescott's negotiation. Tua's maybe a lil more. Dak & Tua r in the same tier as Goff, but they don't have the playoff success. Goff is far more successful than either Tua or Dak by a wide margin... and you can't use the stacked roster thing against him because Dallas and Miami have had some incredible rosters over the last few years. Goff clearly needs a team around him, most especially a top flight offensive line, but honestly how many QBs don't? Maybe 2?? I don't understand how you put a money value on a player. Every year we talk about some crazy number some guy signed for and how it makes another player more or less valued. It always goes up for QB's (maybe not for running backs). Maybe Goff is worth more to the Lions than Dak is to the Cowboys, but since Goff got a great deal (this year), does that mean the Cowboys have to give Dak a better one? I'm not sure about that line of thinking. If Dak hasn't done for them what they were paying him to do for the last three years, It's unlikely that will change. It appears that the rest of the NFC East has gotten better and more competitive. The Dolphins would be smart not to give Tua a huge long term deal. They will probably regret it. Never Draft a QB from Alabama or Ohio State in the first round, they haven't lived up to the hype since Joe Namath (Hurts came close but he won't see another Super Bowl from the field unless he is a backup late in his career on a Championship team). Don't get mad at me for saying it, it's in the record books lol.

Goff was playing with a garbage D and took them to the nfc title game and were a few drops from a W. The others fall apart when it matters most. Dak , Tua , Trevor Love …. Not on that level

There's a draft every year for a reason find a qb there. The Cowboys found Romo who was undrafted and Dak was a fourth rounder. Teams need to stop falling into the Kirk Cousins trap of well you won't be bad but you won't be great. Meanwhile your team is handicapped by the qb salary and the qb needs above average talent which you now can't afford

Dallas sucks when it comes to contract talk. They waiting way to long and loosing more money. OFC they gonna give Cedee a new deal so why wait? the longer they wait the more he gonna get. Dak might be a FA next year. if they end up re sign him they would look stupid becuse his price will be so big that they could save a lot by paying him earlier this year.

At the end of the day if you dont win the superbowl all that other crap is irrelevant, goff and tua were picked in the first round of the draft, technically their suppose to be better than dak but in reality their all in the same tier, i think its hilarious that dak was a 4th rounder and is still in the same conversation as these guys lol.

Sorry, guys. I just don't see Jared Goff being worth that kind of money. Take this to the bank: That contract is going to be another Russell Wilson contract debacle. This, of course, is why the Detroit Lions have been a desperate, historically bad franchise. Tape this to yer fridge!
