I have heard these verses used to shame young people for desiring sex. It’s like telling someone it’s a sin to get hungry. I recently watched an orthodox preacher talking about this and he said, lust is the only one you will not gain complete victory over. Because that's the one that will always tempt you, and bring you back to Jesus every time with a sorrowful heart asking for forgiveness. Its such a difficult thing because if we act, we condemn ourselves making it worse. It's like...Islam, or a virus. Once you give the enemy a foothold, it spreads. But if we were sinless, we would be God. We must remember the woman caught in the act of adultery...they were about to stone her and he said let those without sin, cast the first stone. They all turned and walked away, he says, neither do I condemn you, now go and sin no more. Jesus loves us. Hates the sin. We cannot be sinless, but everyday we must try harder to be closer to the image of Jesus.

You are missing the point of what Jesus preached in this sermon. The point is to let the Jews know, not His believers who ALREADY knew, that it is impossible to follow the Law of Moses. Thank you for clarifying this; videos that give this broad description and never really break down or explain the lesson that was meant to be gained are very dangerous and can lead people into hopelessness, and away from God. It is impossible for anyone to be completely sinless, that is why we are forgiven. Thats not to say we shouldn’t work on ourselves and try to reframe from just outright ‘taking the bull by the horns’ and just going wild and on a sin-spree as if there are no consequences; there are. The consequences will reflect in your life and will drive you further from God ( for instance you tell a lie, then you have to keep telling more lies to keep that lie going; before you know it, everything you do is a lie and yet the reason you told the first lie was simply to make this person like you, but that can’t happen if who you present isn’t even true.) The only way out is to pray and ask God’s forgiveness and direction to help you; now you know that lying is a sin that is being used by the devil to bring torment to your soul, you must pay very close attention to avoiding this sin in particular by all means. We cannot be completely void of sin, and whoever says that they are, are probably in a much worse state of soul than you are-or suffer from the first sin committed against our father, pride. A lot of people out here these days thinking they are holier than the other sinners, instead of praying for the lord to rid them of their prideful spirit and humble them. We are all sinners, we should be asking forgiveness and thanking him for his EVERLASTING GRACE and MERCY everyday. His mercy is ‘everlasting’ meaning it never ends, you can always be saved and will be forgiven as long as you believe in it. But thats just my understanding of what I have learned about our wonderful counselor; I could be wrong, so I strongly advise everyone to ask the lord for guidance, but I personally have decided to just live my life as good of a person as I can, try my best to go by his teachings, and pray every night and day for I know I am surely to fall short of his glory.

Please, be careful with what you say. The “once saved, always saved” is a really dangerous doctrine and lie. Revelation 3:5 states: I will not blot out his name from the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels". This verse means that those who overcome. The key phrase is “I WILL NOT”, which means that Jesus can and has the Will to erase people out of the Book of Life if we accept Him, but decide not to trust and obey His commandments. God made women beautiful so Adam would admire and desire her. Yet we are told to not desire the women he has made to attract men. So why not make them all ugly and not beautiful so men would not lust/desire to be with her. Makes no sense. IF we take this to keep women covered at all time and only view her after married. Now i ask you this, when after the marriage you see the women naked and she is not desirable at all. Now there is a problem when the man no longer desires his wife, because he knew not what she looked like because she was covered head to foot. I look at women and admire their beauty and their for i am doomed, because God made her to be attractive and made me to be attracted to her. Doomed from the beginning.

I agree that this makes no sense, and God told us to multiply. I also don't understand why God is against fornication. Imagine your wife sees you naked for the first time, and feels unhappy about the size of your penis. This can lead to adultery, which God said is sinful. That's a problem that could've been avoided if we were allowed to have sex before marriage.
