John has a special ability to really reflect on himself and not gloss over anything. He admitted to his own faults even when it’s about meeting a world champ of a rival company.
@The_Razielim4 ай бұрын
He's earned a lot of respect from me over the last few years because he can admit "Yeah I used to be kind of an ass about things."; either in the way he handled younger up & coming talent, or the way he viewed competitive promotions, etc. Like, I totally understand his loyalty to the WWE for giving him his shot and the opportunity to become as big as he was, but also that ability to look back and go "I kinda had my head up my own ass, but I'm trying to be better" is a really impressive show of maturing and growth that not everyone undergoes.

John Cena, the man who was the face of WWE for 15 years, thinks competition is good, yet some "fans" are far too stupid to accept that
@SyrianHch4 ай бұрын
Plus wrestlers don’t have to work for the same company their entire life. In 2001 everyone started kissing McMahon’s ass afraid that he would fire them.

its one thing to be loyal, its another to have a totally ridiculous rule that revolves around watching wrestling matches(the sport you're expected to be completely in love in) of other companies just because they're automatically competition

This just shows that some wrestlers' under the WWE really felt they were the pinnacle of Entertainment. It was toxic not letting them show face at other wrestling companies.

@jersonhernandez-lobos376 that's WCW era. Even after that through the McMahon regime, they acted as if other companies didn't exist. But now the company is bigger than ever and under triple h, they acknowledge that other companies are out there
