It would be hard to call Donnie out for being insensitive to the black struggle if you listen to the rest of his sermons and teachings. The church in America has become weak and ineffective in its stand for truth and righteousness, which Donnie addresses all the time. I think the reason he brought the subject of black churches up is because, as brothers in Christ, they cannot be exempt from the criticism that we all share. America has sadly turned its back on God and it is the churches fault! Not many preachers are willing to speak out, especially to areas that are off limits.

Well, where was he wrong? Where in Scripture(and that's where everyone gets hung up)do you find him in error? I ministered in many black churches in my days as an evangelist. What shocked me so many times was their lack of scriptural knowledge. It came from a lack of wanting Biblical knowledge. Those has led them to be more of a political body, than an ecclesiastical one. That is not what Christ founded the church to be. It has further led them to support candidates who stand on issues that go against Scripture.

I believe you need a softer heart towards people. You need grace, which is the divine influence on the heart, and its' reflection in the life. Do you have that in your life? You seem rather judgemental, for no apparent reason. Don't you believe in God's forgiveness? He is warning those who don't make a total commitment and full surrender to the Lord that they will not make heaven their home. Much like an old time fire and brimstone preacher. He understands what it is to be a real Christian. To call him out on that, shows me that you don't. Seek God with your whole heart, surrendering to Him, and obey Him. A critical spirit that you have is not of God.
