FYI, going through the Park Ave Tunnel may be illegal but it's rare to get a ticket for it. I bike ride through it all the time, as well as the 1st Ave tunnel that goes under the UN complex. I was hoping you'd go through the tunnel when I saw you skateboarding over the road markings leading up to it. Since they converted it to one-way traffic a few years ago, the zebra stripes on the sides should give you a safe buffer from the cars. Trolleys used to go through there until 1937. Hope whomever is in the hospital gets better soon.
