While both BSD and BTA use once living authors and poets, BTA sticks to the theme of literature more than BSD does. the characters in bungou stray dogs are different from real life authors. but they have superpowers aka an ability, so its kinda interesting. the only similarities in them are they are based on irl authors but their personality are kinda different and some of their relationship with the other characters are different too. like irl dazai looks up to akutagawa but in the BSD, akutagawa looks up to dazai. while in BTA dazai looks up to akutagawa just like in real life. i think i could say their relationship in BTA are accurate in terms of personality. (i mean, the real chuuya was the annoying one while dazai literally cried because of embarrassment from him.) im bad at explaining things so here's their wiki bungo.fandom.com/wiki/Frequently_Asked_Questions "What they do have in common is that the main characters are named after famous writers, 'bungou', but their approach to the real-life writers is different.
