What Kind of Sadistic Hell is This? | Dark Souls

Look some games are hard, Elden Ring gave me a run for my money. Sonic 06 was a glitchy migraine. This though...this is some kind of sadistic box of otherworldly tortures. The Skeletons man. The Skeletons are rollin, they're jumping, laughing, and we are crying. And if that wasn't enough they thought it might be a good idea to turn the lights out. Dark Souls, you have humbled us. Of course we make it through, but at what cost man? Enjoy this Dark Souls Rage fest. I'm so sure it's not going to be the last.

I remember my first playthrough. I figured I'd try going down first; hours of slogging through, trying to kill the Necromancers, and finally getting to the bonewheels. I found the Skeleton Blacksmith but couldn't get through the bonewheels so I had to then get out of the Catacombs. It was a rough start to my Dark Souls introduction.

Getting out of the catacombs was worse than getting in. It took me a good while to get back. It does seem like the game leads you to that area first lol. We went back and did a few other areas in the upcoming episodes. Felt like a breeze compared to the catacombs

Oh man I would lose my mind playing this. The only souls-ish game I’ve played is Bloodborne. I got pretty far into it but I dropped it and I don’t think I have the strength to pick it up again.

It's a rough learning curve, and this one is harder than most of them just because of clunky movements, and lack of variety in any given situation. Elden Ring on the other hand is much easier, and you have a ton of ways to approach each situation. That being said, it can really stress you out 😆. Also I found out we weren't supposed to be in this area for a good while!
