boogie woogie can negate incoming damage during the swap, punishing people with rubble works - either downslaming with the rock or swapping them with the rubble, it's just that nobody's risking their 120-0 for some sort of smart play, this is aba

​@@user-yw6hu9lg4n the i-frames are very quick so a lot of multi hits counter it, but still ill give you that. however, the rubble smash is just another combo starter/extender. honestly i think if todo could summon someone like yuji or takada in base it would give boogie a lot more options outside of just comboing (also if it just had less combo options lol), but obviously it would need to be balanced properly so he doesnt have like an infinite evasive or something.

@@personguy4864 i think it is up to debate whether boogie woogie can have more of a practical use during team game modes, like say being granted another boogie woogie free of cooldown if you saved yourself or your teammate from incoming damage, but this is essentially a fighting game where the implementation of such things would tip the balancing scale like you said (and the moveset used for todo is a concept anyway, par didn't work on it himself, but hey, they did a good job)

​@@user-yw6hu9lg4n yeah, obviously boogie has and should have a lot more usage in team based modes, it just kinda sucks u cant unlock most of the characters potential unless u have a good teammate. the concept wasnt bad by any means, but realistically todo should be less of a combo character and more focused on mixups, and i do think thats where he fails. like i said, my immediate thought would be to give him an assist, but todo is in a decent spot balance wise and its not like hes ever getting a rework.
