(especially with how you take in the grammar of both, how you translate from one language to another) so basically all of those develop the brain earlier in performing more advanced and capable functions. ano konek nyan? tanong mo sa google para alam mo.

Actually the baby's brain is like a sponge it can absorb many things so it's good to expose him to many languages as ut helps develop baby's brain.. When I was teaching in preschool we change our basic greeting languages. from local to international❤️❤️don:t be afraid to expose him to languages💕💕💞

In my experience with my two girls they are late In their speaking ability or development, I speak tagalog/bikol and English and Norsk , while my husband is Norwegian he use Norsk and English too. So with our first child we were advised to used one language at home to help her progress.

I'm taking care of a Chinese baby here in Singapore... Once na ako ang nag aalaga sa kanya kinakausap ko sya by using english language.. At kapag mommy nya naman ang nag aalaga they're talking mandarin language to the baby... So far so good because he knows 2 languages already at a very young age... Now he is already 3 yrs old...☺️ U can talk both language to him... God bless❤️

Me and my siblings grew up with 2 languages and 2 dialects, its not overwhelming, plus when you start school here English and Filipino are major subjects (even in preschool) and they spoke to us in dialects at home, so it was easy to maintain.

I used to work po in long day care here in Australia and Its because its multi cultural here, I noticed that children in my care esp with parents na different language yung ginagamit sa house na coconfused po ung bata and nadedelay po ung speech development nila. I suggest to speak with him in one language at home kng anu talaga ung gusto niyo na malaman niya then when he started to say words po start different language and maybe you can tutor him at home when he turns 2 or 3 y/o. Watched a couple on KZbin one papa is Japanese and his husband is Swedish. They both live in Sweden and they have a son who speaks English, Japanese and Sweden...Boys Japanese papa speaks only Japanese to him and Swedish Papa only speaks Swedish to him. To watch him speak interchangeable was amazing...You and Shanta have an advantage teach your son to speak different dialects

Infants have a magical ability to learn languages as many as they can because of the so-called LAD or Language Acquisition Device. According to Noam Chomsky, the concept of LAD enables infants to acquire and produce language. It's no sweat for them to learn as early as they can since they just easily absorb the language without so much filters. Multilingualism also helps a lot in the brain development. I think mas beneficial pag number 1 yung Waray. I believe they will be settling down in Leyte. Mas maiging alam ni Nitro magcommunicate with people surrounding him. I think youre tapping it so hard his back, you can burp him even just lay him on your body with that same pose without tapping that hard in his back. Babies are easy to burp. You can put him in your chest area with upright position by supporting his butt and back/head. You can gently rub his back or sometimes burp just happen eventually. Dont make hard sway yet because his inside parts are still forming. Let him sleep naturally its so hard for you later to spoil him with sway while sleeping too.

I am a Filipina,married to a Singaporean Malay. My kids 2nd language at school is Malay. I talk to them in English. So they talk mostly in English and a little Malay. Only during the lockdown, i started to teach them Tagalog, just the basic. I am Waray, from Tacloban City. Will teach them a little waray later on. Kids can learn fast, but it has to be used often, for them to remember it. Depends how Nitro will grasp what dialect he will want when he is older... Baby steps for now.

Talk to your baby in English & Tagalog (2 languages), then when he's a little older, you can teach Or talk to him in your own dialect (waray or bisaya). It's confusing for baby's to understand many dialects at the moment.

I tried to raise my daughter bilingual and it took her 4 years before she can speak words that make sense. Its safer to focus on one language then as he grows older introduce another language. A lot of Filipinos tried raising their kids multilingual in Singapore and had the same problem.

Our baby is half filipino half British and He is now 14 months old but getting confused when i teach him to speak tagalog and Bisaya . But he fully understand British english. Someone suggested me that wait until your son is comfortable to learn other languages and try not to push it on him so he wont get a Language confusion . Btw baby nitro is so adorable ! Pillows are not necessary for babies as it increase the risk of sudden death because they can cover baby’s face or may cause overheating. Here in Australia they don’t introduce or recommend using pillows for newborn not until a child starts to sleep in a bed.

As an ICU nurse for the newborns, we don't practice that. I was just suggesting 😊 The way he's holding the baby is right as well. Sometimes we let them lie on their chest on a pillow with head elevated to prevent aspirations. Tapping the back might bring up the food causing aspirations. I understand there's different practices among parents.

Hi dwantafam!!! Education student here. Just wanted to share what my teacher said. Parents should use one language for it 1st language (L1) that would be his core or basic foundation in language acquisition. L1 should be a language that parents, care givers or family members who surrounds the baby are comfortable with for the baby not to get stress towards language acquisition. Coz according to studies, we are all born with language acquisition devices (LAD) that we adapt to what we hear and try to use it as how people use it. Just sharing what I learned from her. Hi Dwanta...We are a bi-racial couples with 2 children...We attended a seminar in Paris on how to raise bilingual children.. To know what language we need to communicate with our children..Mom here is a Filipina and the Dad is French..So Doctors advise us to start talking with the kids with 2 languages that the Parents masters...Me I speak english and my husband speak French..We never speak Filipino to them kc it’s been a long time na d aq nagsasalita ng Filipino..We are living in Paris so since I left bihira nlg ako nag Filipino..I speak with my parents over the phone in Hiligaynon coz I was born in Bacolod..Now our 5 year old is bilingual she masters French and English...Though mas prefer nya mag French kc since 6 months in playschool teachers are talking in French...But it’s true that kids until 6 years old can master as much as 5 languages...Scientific research shows that it’s good to start with 2 different languages kc at their young age their best references are Mom & Dad it’s to avoid confusion. With our 2nd baby she’s 18 months, we have a Filipino Nanny and encourage her to talk in Filipino..Since the baby is already speaking English and French..We also have a niece who is now 18 also bilingual German and French..She speaks 2 languages without any accent though she started speaking a little bit late...At 18 she speaks as well english, italian, korean, spanish.

My pamangkins grew up in NZ, like 10 years since baby pa sila. Kapwa Filipino (Bisaya) ate ko at husband niya. They're primarily English-speakers, pero American English pa rin accent nila, haha. Di nakaya ng mga classmates nila, sa parents pa rin nakuha ang accent.

Relate much ☺️ my husband language Urdu and Paustho then me Tagalog... Pero nag uusap kami mag asawa English. So then we usually talk to her English... Now she's 6 years old, she can speak and understand 4 languages... Now she's starting learning Arabic 😊

hi dwanta fam ,may 2 children din ako ,german yung father nila ..at yan din ang iniisip ko noong una kung anong language ba dapat , noong una mix language ginagamit ko pag kinkausap ko mga anak ko ..pero parang nalilito mga bata kung anong language ba dapat sabihin so ang ginawa ko ..german language muna tapos nung nag 2 1/2 years old na cla ,dun n ako ngstart turuan cla nga english at visaya at kunting tagalog n din ...ayun effective nmn

Foods that are good for lactating moms is ginataan na gulay, nilagang baka or malunggay soup. Yan yung kinakain ko when I was still breastfeeding my baby. I hope this information helps po.

Im half egyptian and filipina, as my parents were talking to me in 3 languages (English, arabic and tagalog) it me longer to start talking even and apparently I was confused. so what my parents did, they started with arabic, then english then tagalog. :) Especially with babies, it's better to start with one language at a time.

Ang una kong language ay ilocano. Nung kindergarden natuto na ako mag english at mag tagalog dahil sa english subject at filipino subject. Hindi ko alam kung paano ako natuto kasi hindi ko nmn ginalingan masyado basta nakikinig lang sa teacher tska tagalog yung pagsasalita ng teacher. Saka lang siya nag ienglish pag english subject. At pag naguusap kami ng mga classmate ko ilocano at sa bahay ilocano..So mix talaga. So ngayong matanda na ako napatunayan ko na mas mabilis makapick up ng mga language ang mga bata basta laging naririnig. Hindi sumakit yung ulo ko. Pero ngayon na nag aaral ako ng french sumasakit ulo ko tska parang ang hirap magstay sa utak. Mas maganda talaga na may kausap kang french or nasa bansa ka nila para lagi mong naririnig ang language nila. But i am proud na tatlo ang alam kong salita. Kasi parang nakaka amaze na madami kng alam.
