I always look forward to it either being a Photo Finish Or An Oil Painting.

I want to say that Rich Strike’s trainer inspired me. He said, “The only thing worse than not getting in, would be getting in and not being prepared.” So he trained Rich Strike for the Derby even though he was still only an also eligible. I recently threw my hat in the ring and bid on a contract I really didn’t think I could win, and I won it. Amazing! Because Rich Strike showed me that the only thing worse than losing is not taking your best shot. My hero!

Exactly. Prepare as though you're going to win. Bet on yourself. The worst that can happen is that you lost and you're prepared for the next time. Which begs the question: Did you really lose?

The trainer brought the horse and team to Churchill to train even though they were a long shot even to get into the race. He said the worst thing that could happen was to get the call at the last minute and not be prepared to go. When opportunity knocks you have to be prepared to answer the door.

Shows you how these races are rigged. Go watch his past race performances against these top horses 7th at best. Terrible to say the least. That’s why he wasn’t suppose to be in the Kentucky Derby race. Belmont stakes he isn’t racing any great horses. Epicenter is sitting this one out and Rich strike sat out the last race. This way you can’t evaluate his performance.

Guess you can evaluate it he lost the Belmont Stakes big time. Shows he didn’t win the Kentucky Derby without something shady.

Hi Michelle, this is my response to Rob, above. "I think you may have missed the point of the blog/video. Did you watch it through to the end? The point was that unlikely and random things can happen which position us to win a 'race' we never thought to enter. We should take risks and 'go for it' even when we don't necessarily think we can 'win.' It really had nothing to do with a horse race, per se. Thanks for watching."

it shows you don't understand horse racing. Pace makes the race.
