The colour of that suit is just perfect for autumn. Great tie pairing as well.

The Solaro fabric is beautiful for Spring, Summer or Autumn - when the sun hits it it can have a reddish hue. Gorgeous.

another great video - well done - i would love to see a video on how you do the Lilly stick on the buttons - looks amazing

Be careful with the selection of fabric. The half shine fabric selected shows all the small puckering that happens on the dart areas, and the ill-fitting shoulder pads 0:35 of the video. More uniform lighting will help as well to cancel some shadows created by the puckering of the lapel/collar stitching on your right collar bone area.

Great advice on the lighting - it's something we are currently learning when creating our content. Thanks

Absolutely beautiful. Your stitching is perfect…..don’t suppose you want an elderly apprentice, do you? I’d happily sell my business and come and learn how to do this!

this is like my dream suit; considering getting a full canvas suit what would be the estimated cost for such a suit, and delivery time?
@richardgeorgetailoring2 ай бұрын
@@alloskostas8747 lead times from first fitting to completion are around 6 weeks. Cost can vary greatly depending on the fabric and quantity. If you submit a query through our website then one of our team will give you a call to discuss - www.richardgeorge.uk/booking/

Is this particular fabric from Smith's, now Harrison's? Sorry, just seen it's Loro Piani!
@richardgeorgetailoring2 ай бұрын
It is indeed Loro Piana. Many mills do a version of Solaro - it is a classic heritage fabric, originally created to protect the military from UV rays in 1900s.

@@richardgeorgetailoringapparently Solaro is trademark name of a British company called Harrison’s I think. Anyone else making it cannot call it Solaro…even though it’s Solaro like

1 Hour for a Buttonhole that inconsistent?
@richardgeorgetailoring2 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. A hand sewn buttonhole is a thing of beauty.
@Kydney2 ай бұрын
@@richardgeorgetailoring I know, and I know handwork can't be 100% accurate, but for a buttonhole like that, I would need 10 minutes.

Look at that pulling around the jacket button - the jacket is too small. The gorge height it too high, imo. Pick stitching looks terrible (in general, not just here). The button hole stitching looks poorly done. The embroidery is super tacky. Best suit in the world? Nope.

The only thing important to me, is that it's made with no synthetic fibers. Not the lining, not the threads and not the color.
@richardgeorgetailoring2 ай бұрын
The lining is cupro which is a semi-synthetic fibre made from waste cotton. We can, of course, do silk linings. Thread is all cotton. It's very difficult to find completely natural garments off-the-peg. We would always recommend investing in a made-to-measure garment if the journey of the raw materials is important to you. :)
