Hot take (probably not) but tenkachi 3 has my favorite fighting mechanics in terms of combo+ movement out of every game I've ever played, pulling shit off in that game is a whole other level of satisfaction especially the high level tech

I disagree. There's no high-level tech and all the characters play the same a uses the same auto-combo routes. Mixing in a few ki blast and abusing a stagger is monotonous. People that try to make an arena fighter artificially more technical can't even play real fighting games and that says a lot.

@tkm1875 have you recently gone back to play tenkachi and actually look into the combat to make this argument? Because it's not valid, the characters have different combo strings there are a lot of repeats I'll give you that but there's enough variety for a competitive scene on top of a large variety of unique supers each character having 5, momentum physics, differences in speed between characters, etc and I play a lot of fighting games in general actually I'm currently active on tekken 8 if you got pc we can run it lmao

It's an arena game, lol. The fact that there isn't any low or high attacks, only 1 or 2 melee buttons, and most attacks start out with the constant usage of the auto-combo... IT'S AN ARENA GAME sadly.

Arena games are like preschool when it comes to fighting games, lol. I only played some of them in the past because I like whatever series it was but I quickly realize that it's all low-effort mediocrity and I'd quickly go back to Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, Granblue Fantasy Versus, Dragon Ball FighterZ, etc.
